Heavy metals? OH YES!, mercury? OH YES!, amalgam? OH YES!...lol

I can only tell from my own experience that after having my amalgam fillings removed last year in December my symptoms went "crazy" ..I had the most terrible creepy crawling sensations on my head it almost drove me nuts...

My dentist did not tell me I should detox my body after treatment...well..I guess most docs don't even consider this...but after I have found out by myself how to rid heavy metals with different supplements added to my daily diet my symptoms have tremendously decreased....

DETOX folks!! And get rid of those amalgam fillings..POISON!! especially for Lyme "dealers"!

I apologize for not have a links to my articles. I know Critter was good enough to find the link to one on Dr. Amin’s site. I suppose you could get copies by inter-library loan or direct from Explore publications. “Hell and Back Again” is my account of being ill and getting better (vol. 17, #4). “Patterns in Early Morgellons Disease Considered as Effect of Mercury Exposure” is on what the title suggest (Vol. 17, #6).

I did get tested for Lyme Disease and the test came back negative. I recently read a medical article which had findings suggesting the bacteria could be passed from mother to child; if this is the case, we may all carry this bacteria in some way.

Dr. Amin does not connect the Morgellons/NCS symptoms to mercury. His research is on dental adhesives (such as Dycal, Life, Etc…described as similar to nerve gas in properties). As I hypothesis, I think the adhesives act as carriers of mercury into the nerve cells.

“Fixed symptoms” could be expected if the toxin levels remained the same. They may increase when the primary sources from amalgam fillings are removed. If the primary source of toxins is not removed, the secondary levels will increase. Dr. Amin noted his patients had an increase in symptoms initially.

The biologic dentist, Dr. Terry Lee, said a couple of things to me before my amalgam fillings where removed…and they come to mind. I paraphrase, “Mercury is the second deadliest substances know to man. There is no known safe amount of mercury in the body. And dentists have the highest rate of suicide in any profession (heavy metals are known to block neurotransmissions…and this results in panic attacks along with depression).

In my mind all of this connects to mercury. It needs to be considered…and pursued by the medical community. I hope a clear picture comes your way soon. Please continue to explore the possibility of a mercury connection.

A mercury 'connection' is not the same as saying that Morgellons 'is' mercury toxicity.

I believe there is a connection with mercury, for sure, but also a possible connection with any metal toxicity a person could have. Mercury is the most common, next to iron, which used to be because of plumbing and cookware, which have largely been replaced by other noxious substances.

Being tested for Lyme once means absolutely nothing, Joe. Lyme, IMO is absolutely a connection. It's the heavy metals that allow the critters to take hold in the host.

There are other elements to this puzzle. The heavy metals, nutrition, other things compromising our immune system are just base factors. Agrobacterium and foreign dna composits are what Morgellons IS.

Kritters, You and not alone in feeling Morgellons is connected to parasites. My research/speculation/experience and the patterns I see lead me to believe the condition is due to mercury as a neurotoxin. That's okay...this is posted under speculation.

My thoughts are that you may or may not have large quanities of mercury in your system. Key, I believe, is having a "carrier" into the nervous system.

I think individual cells are moving in response to a toxin moving through them (expansion/contrast due to changes in temp.).

It is all stuff to think about. If a bacteria is interacting with mercury (as I think you believe)...still getting rid of the mercury is worthwhile.

Totally agree, Joe! I'm actually going to set up IV chelation for this week.

I've been spending much time researching mercury toxicity and am fascinated with all the health implications there are. Even as far back as the 19th century it seems much was known about the toxic effects on the body. This is very much beyond disturbing to me since it was so non-chalantly placed into all of our vaccines in spite of this knowledge. I'd like to know why exactly the seafood is so saturated with mercury as well, and why nothing has been done about it.

Kritters and All, I am on a new protocol for removal of heavy metal neurotoxins. It is much easier than my original...so I thought others might be interested. My last visit to Dr. Bruce Shelton resulted in my shifting to this new approach which is much easier than the IV approach. Every other day I take Phospholipid Exchange and OSR#1 mixed with juice at breakfast. I also take a chelation mineral replacer daily.

I have only been following this protocol for two months...but feel it is my best approach (I had been living in an isolated location and found the 8 hr. drive to Phoenix for IV work too long!).

There may be various companies making similar chelation approaches. I don't want to endorse whatever...but I thought some might want to know. I haven't had my heavy metal levels tested since I've began...so I can't relay how effect this approach is.

Hi Joe,

I have read all of your posts tonight and I am very interested in the mercury detox items you used. Yes, I totally believe mercury is the second largest toxin knoown to man. Many have died from mercury poisoning.

I didn't recognize any of the remedies you posted and would not know where to get them.

Would you, could you email or pm me about obtaining them?
