This is a theory and speculation thread to determine our water supply's role in Morgellons Disease.

This is my local tap water from my kitchen sink, a place that is near the end of my water line in my house - I have NOT changed the screen in this faucet in some time. Cultured in nutrient agar on 5/14/09, photographed on 6/1/09 @100x, represents 2 weeks growth.

** This Petri Dish contains 2 biofilms, the light mustard yellow one *that I have described before and also the light pearl colored one. Most all objects you see are INSIDE of biofilms.

I am thinking that I need to start using a different culture medium.

This "water" concept thread was originally Kat's idea. She got into a bit of trouble with it with her locality, we have to figure out how to 'tip toe' around this subject matter, because, if you claim to have 'bad' water - you have to be able to 'prove' it and most labs do not test for 'fungus' nor biofilms.

We're just 'looking' at water in general - as we know that Morgellons is somehow water related... I'm sure Kat and the others that participated in her previous thread will re-post some of their comments here.

She thought it best that I start this thread for her.

It looks like I need to buy new screens for my sinks and possibly buy a whole house filter system?

Yes, Kam....I think everyone should have a good house water filtering system. Most people think bottled water is safe.

Here's the thing, I think....could very well be the water and it could also be the build up of fungi and bacteria in the pipes....or both.

Right now I boil the bottled water I buy in gallon containers. I'm living with someone who doesn't give a rat's arse about any of this, so it's the best I can do for myself.

Hey I just realized I should put the cooled water back in the gallon containers (bisphenol and all....geez is there ANY freaking way to turn?) and add drops of MMS????

I'm going to do a bottled water test next, Kritts. Kat's been saying all along for me to test the water...

I put a drop of tea tree oil in my bottled water this morning, it tastes rather good... maybe, there could be other beneficial cleansing herbs we could use besides the tea tree oil? Who's our 'herb expert' out here?

Hey Kritts - We could do some microscopic shots of the bottled water and make Christmas Cards and let you send them to the people on your list that think drinking bottled water is safe?... and let them guess what's on the cover of the cards?

yeah, you see it's the water!! IMO you all need to change your water screens and if possible get a water filtering system with a very tight wooven filter.

Let the hot water run full blast before taking a shower or bathing for atleast 2 minutes.....IMO bathing isn't a good idea at all.....I wouldn't be fond of bathing in fungus or bacteria if you ask me even with added Epsom Salts or Baking Soda or stuff like that. So I only take showers what worked out the best for me.

Contaminated water.....there ya go! OMG, what are we going to do now?
