Right now I boil the bottled water I buy in gallon containers. I'm living with someone who doesn't give a rat's arse about any of this, so it's the best I can do for myself.

Hey I just realized I should put the cooled water back in the gallon containers (bisphenol and all....geez is there ANY freaking way to turn?) and add drops of MMS????

Hey Kritts, have you heard about biofilm in water pipes? Sure you did! Bacteria and fungus thriving in them? I have read that the worst circumstance would be too low hot water temperatures and/or too high cold water temperatures. Bacteria and fungi thrive between 37,0 C and 37,5 C or for you guys.... 98,6 F/99,5 F. These temperatures lead to an high makeup of bacteria/fungus and algae in our water systems...

Note the equivalence to body temperature!!

About boiling water before use...well, I'm not sure about that...sorry to say..
I did this test also. I took tap water and let it boil for over a half water..
my kitchen turned into a sauna...lol.....and let it cool off a little. Then I took a sterile dropping pipette and put some on a dish and covered it with a lid and let it sit for a few days..... Same results like I have seen without boiling..WOW....

IMO this organism can NOT be "killed" by boiling either...even over a longer period of time....it's multi resistent....

Even Chlorine can't eliminate it....THAT's THE PROBLEM!!!

Bottled water?? That's another aspect...I'm not sure if your guys bottled water you can buy over in the states..well let me say it this way....is contaminated too??

Kammy and I need to culture some bottled water also...I bet there's the same "stuff" in it.....we'll see....

And..bisphenol in plastic bottles....dang!! there's no way out!!

Somebody is going to pay for all this............ you know whom I mean.......?

I found it AMAZING that I have 2 BIOFILMS in my tap water dish ~~~~~

I'm culturing bottled water today, and while we wait... let the show begin...
