Yeah, Katink...very possible. We think it's 100% cotton but it's 100% bio-engineered franken bacterial/insectal/fungus.

This is so disgusting.

I have written almost everyone who has a major role in researching Lyme and making discoveries who thinks outside the box, but have received zilch responses.

Kat,

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I posted two years ago about this insect I had never seen before that one day was suddenly all over my walls, blinds, furniture on one side of the house. It was so unusual, I told my friend about it and we looked at it and both said we had NEVER seen it before. It looked very similar to the top picture only didn't have wings. The head was slightly larger, like that of an ant. The legs were very long. some of them even died standing up on top of furniture. Really weird.

OMG.... I don't know if the timeframe matches up, but I had just had cotton duck slip-covers made for all my living room furniture. She told me it was a new bolt of fabric... a cream denim.....

I'm flabberghasted! I've got 100 shots... I'm going to put together a real quick movie...

And - then come back later for enlargements. I noticed one thing in this shooting that is very interesting, I'll share it with you after you view the movie. It shouldn't take me but 10 mins to put the movie together... brb.
