| Something has changed..... Over the weekend I quit drinking bottled water. Now I have to say on a regular day I drink 3-5 bottles of water on the low side. I haven't used tap water in years. I am in the middle of another morgie episode and am nervously awaiting a result from a 3rd breast lump (all three have presented differently) which I had never had prior to all of these medical issues. I woke up yesterday grouchy and thinking "must be hormones" and had/have excessive energy which I have not had in weeks. Could this really be attributed to this seemingly minor change??? I have continuously heard about the toxicity of the plastic of our water bottles and after hearing of the lack of regulations of what is in this water and finding out that chlorine in tap water actually kills micro organisms, I decided... DONE with the bottled water. Since then I have heard Cheryl Crow believes this was the source of her breast cancer, plastic bottled water, and with Lance Armstrong repeat cancer survivors knowledge, I felt it was worth elliminating from my life. Since then my research has shown the chemical BPA which is controversial as far as whether or not it is at toxic levels in our plastic products but it acts as a fake form of estrogen in the human body. In my attempts to find the safest bottled drinking water, I found only one list of the actual contents in our bottled water by the name brand but it dated back to 1999. The amount of arsenic and chemicals and bacteria were really frightening in some. I also found where rocket fuel is actually in our food and water supplies on a website and a disturbing amount in baby food products! My mind is reeling..... Has anyone else experienced a dramatic physical change from switching to tap water? sh |

I too am very suspicious that bottled water is the culprit in Morgellons and stopped drinking it about 10 days ago. My lesions are starting to clear up. Coincidence? Maybe. My girls are better too. I have also been doing various treatments with epsom salts, salt, red wine, etc., but it seems like even when I did the treatments it just didn't really clear it up. My neck area (my worse lesions) hasn't looked this good in 6 months. No more bottled water for me. Yes, the chlorine kills stuff. I filter my tap water with the best filter I can find. Reverse osmosis might be better - don't have the money to do that myself right now. |

| I'm scared of tap water - and bottled water. But I feel the safest with PURIFIED bottled water, not "spring" or other types. Remember that old line "If the skeeters don't get ya then the gators will". I give up. SS |

| Sarothra, I feel strangely better?? I can't actually believe it. My mind feels less foggy, energy has increased hugely, my nose has been running a bit (??), just feel like I am seeing a bit of myself. (?) I don't really know how much of me is gone until I start getting me back... Make any sense?....I had one lesion on my face last May after remission for a year and a half for the most part. Well of course I pushed myself to all limits, catching up on work, the single mom thing (supermom)and ended up with as many as 20 on my face and neck within the past couple of months. I think had 10ish before the holidays but I hit the wall bad. Crashed. Unable to function due to fatigue. Looks just like depression but not depressed just frustrated. In the past month I have been fighting back again against the monsters. That's how I found this site. I am suspicious of my home being a mold source. I also can't afford to do all I wish to clean up my little area of the earth but I am trying to prioritize so I can slowly get all the wonderful cleansing things and purifiers etc.. Sounds like something you are doing is working. SS, I know!! But time frame wise, I felt better before the bottled water. I drank beer and pepsi this weekend and had to wonder what was going to become of me. Every time I filled a 'glass' up with 'tap water' I thought of Erin Brockovich (sp?).........Really sad..................... Saw some honey bees though this weekend!!! That made me really happy. Around here you have to check and make sure there is just one or two as the African colonies are everywhere. That made me sad again......... jeezzz sh |

| Hey SH... it could be the other stuff kicking in though. Dr. Hulda Clark says to boil any water you drink no matter what. I think I remember her saying to get powdered vitamin C and add that to ANYTHING like water, honey,(yes honey for some reason) and whatever to kill pathogens. I use the best bottled water I can find and boil it before using it. Hey, might not be a bad idea to add a tsp of DE to a gallon just for fun. I don't trust ANY tap water. The chlorine does not kill many things and it's really bad for you anyway. zzzzzup to you, girlfriend ![]() xoKritts |

| Can anyone say TEQUILLA!???! I am starting to think.......glass bottle.........kills germs............messes up some worms.............not too bad on the environment................with the lime and salt.............???? I dunno......... At least I would have fun dying. Truth be told, I have killed colds with this. 3 shots, go to bed, sweat, wake up and BAM! I am better. But that was before I got all healthy drinking that bottled water!! JJEEZZZ |

![]() ........Gotcha... I'll zip it ;-)....I love fresh margaritas. I make them with all fresh squeezed lime and add an orange to cut the tartness. Lots of salt on the rim. yummm. What a waste to drink shots and then go to bed, huh? ![]() xoKritts |

| It dependson where you live. Florida tapwater is AWFUL. W. MA. has great reservoirs that are carefully protected, doesn't stink coming out of the tap like in other places. For years I used point of service filters, like PUR (since 1995). Got nervous about them for some reason and now just purified bottled water. Most regular bottled water is just tap water. The devil is in the details (or maybe in the water!)
