You are a very good person SS and intelligent and sensitive and anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend. It's really tough to see things like that happen. I have a friend in Arizona who doesn't want to hear ANYTHING about parasites, natural meds, healing, etc. She's a smart woman, but ignorant. It was tough putting that out of my mind to remain long distant friends, but I did it. She loves animals and takes care of those she finds in the street, etc, and one day she emailed me so sad about a little kitten she loved so much that had a huge bloated belly. The vet gave it a name and said nothing could be done for it. Can you imagine? I looked it up and it was so obviously a parasite I just couldn't understand why the vet wouldn't just treat it. It wasn't untreatable. I tried telling her, but she had it put to sleep and cried for days. So did I. I think those of us who are sensitive (and I think all of us are more than others) get hit the hardest on the emotional aspect of this thing. No one understands what's going on, we are communicators and have no one to communicate with about this among friends and family. So, I know we are sensitive to when pets/people who have diseases die or suffere greatly because we believe something could probably have been done to save them if the truths would be revealed regarding most diseases. Love ya, Kritts

Thank you, Kritters - I do think you are on to something regarding sensitivity. Awhile ago there was a thread about childhood/adolescent trauma, if I recall it correctly. A number of people responded, and there did seem to be something to that. What's the connection? How does traumatic experience early in life make us more vulnerable to this physical affliction? (And how unfair is THAT??). Something else that you said - about communicating - also came up during our conversation. I was this woman's boss and clinical supervisor almost 20 years ago, and we've been good friends ever since. She made the comment that I am a "great teacher". To which I responded "I have nothing to teach...I know nothing...I used to think I knew things, like what was important, how things work, even perhaps the greater meaning of life. But I now am the student, and the biggest lesson I have learned is that I know nothing." This thing is more humbling than anything I could ever have imagined. And maybe that is the point of all of this. I don't know. SS

Hey SS, Yeh..just mentioned a few days ago that on Marc's poll it showed like 85 or 89% of those with Morgellons had bad childhoods. I've been thinking about that. It's funny how things can be worded or what can be made of those words. Having a bad childhood could be different things. I think trauma and how much of it a person has and when could maybe effect our hormones in such a way to predispose us to disease. and if you, for instance, were a kid who ate candy or had the chicken pox or something, that would tend to uproot your dna somehow. I don't think having a bad childhood per se should be taken at face value. JMO of course. The other thing someone pointed out (sorry I don't remember who ....maybe Faith? is that they say mostly women and intelligent people have it. I think it's because people who are sensitive (including men) and aware of the fact that we can take it upon ourselves to determine whether or not we have a legitimate serious problem (which indicates intelligence) go to work on it and don't let the doctors intimidate us. It's not like the morg critter selects us because it's attracted to women or brains ![]() xoxoxoKritts

Hi I think William the great, proberbly got cured through getting the Ozone air & sunshine on his body, the only time (twice I've ever been able to wear short sleeves in summer was after hiring a bungalow on beach in U.K. 2 summers running just for a week, my skin went from being deeply covered in sores to clear by end of week, my son & I sunbathed everyday on large blanket on beach, the sores kind of blew up & looked festered & at night I put antiseptic cream on & an elastoplast, through the week they gradually got better & when we drove home I had tanned clear arms for the 1st time in years,my son was so happy for me. 2 weeks later he came over & could'nt believe it when he saw my arms were back to square one, we did the same the year after & they cleared up again for about 2 weeks then back to square one, I thik the sun & ozone air kills the fungas. the bungalow we stayed in was'nt very clean & had to be thoroughly cleaned & disinfected by myself as soon as we got there as dog lovers go there so place was pretty minging! & my home I keep very clean even hoover ceiling every now & again, I also think the fibres were laid by the parasite for so long before I saw them that my body has got to empty itself of them,I get no red or blue ones now, just white ones that are much smaller now, plus my skin is thickened with fungas. my hands in particular, I've started soaking hands in bowl of bi-carb, its very drying but lumps of skin are falling off....Spotster...... am influenced by kritts Cancer is Fungas article, figure if Bi-carb can cure cancer it must help this...![]()
