Question

Hi Dragonfly,

You've been busy and it is great to see what you are finding, yet sorry you
are finding so much.

Wondered if you have looked closely at the objects I circled. If you see these
shapes frequently? Do you have other close ups focused on those type shapes?

I am seeing these shapes repeatedly in the majority of my specimens and would love for us to be able to identify them.

They kinda match up with the sketch verbal posted too I think. I also think some of mine are fatter and shorter sometimes and then see them longer and more stretched out. I'm thinking they are close cousins or change during their cycle or depending on their (our) current environment and conditions?
I also see them laying side by side frequently.

Thanks... appreciate your posts and pics,
digi

Default Looking for more description

Hi Verbal,

On your sketch, is the larvae segmented like a worm?

Also, is it white, semi-transparent, clear? and does it have any black specs on it?

One more!! - is it darker at one end?

Sorry, had to ask!

Jo xxx

Some of mine have the claw like ends...again not sure if is a distant cousin or
a life stage or environmental adaption?

Here's a couple that I see them in:

Could these claw shapes be the beginnings of crustaceans, like lobsters or crabs? Nancy has identified her shapes as most likely being the abalone. There is much work being done with chitin and probably taken from different mollusks, etc. since it is present in so many things.

They've created bio-engineered monsters which are born into some people's bodies from microscopic organisms. They are mutations with characteristics of the animal/plant which has been the source of the materials used in the experiments.

My thinking is, how on earth can these people think they know enough about playing around with genes and actual organisms to be able to create something without a shadow of a doubt there could be devastating consequences? How utterly ignorant for the sake of making a freaking buck.
