Default Herpes Simplex Virus

Since herpes simplex virus may be implicated as a co-factor in Chlamydia Pneumoniae as well as Lymes (in my mind, at least...) I'm curious to know how many of us have it. Please take a second to participate in the poll. Please keep in mind that there are many types of herpes viruses...related to one and two. Please only vote if you know FOR SURE either way. I suspect that even if people are tested negative, it could be like Lymes in that there could be false negatives because of the ways they have to conceal themselves in different stages. So, it would really be best if you would vote only yes if you know you have it, or at least have had the cold sores on your mouth.
thanks,
Kritts

P.S. I JUST NOTICED TWO MORE 'NO'S (ONE IS NICK'S?) IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THOSE WHO POST 'NO' WOULD PLEASE WRITE A POST DETAILING HOW YOU KNOW YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY FORM OF HERPES FOR SURE.
THANKS

I have been undergoing testing for this pathogen. It should be quite interesting when I hear the results.

Paul, hi, I was wondering what kind of tests are performed to diagnose herpes simplex. I had a positive test for a recent primary infection of EBV several months ago. I found through the internet that that is what causes mono, and it is a subgamma group of herpes simplex.
I have had what we always called "fever blisters" or "cold sores" all of my life, or as far as I can remember. I wonder if that could have anything to do with pneumonia? I was hospitalized with that when I was 2 years old, my Mom said I was very sick.

Wow! I did the poll and saw the results are 100% answer yes.

Sometimes when a lesion starts to form it feels like the herpes tingling feeling right before a break-out. Anyone else have this "feeling"?

"Everybody into the poll!!"

"Everybody into the Poll" !!!!

LOVE IT, JONSI!!! you funny! I didn't even check the poll thinking I hadn't seen posts on it. Awesome!! Everyone PLEASE participate! No one knows who you are so your secret is safe !!!

If we check out any possibility of pathogens/co-pathogens/morphed pathogens....we can help researchers who actually KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!!!

Thanks Jonsi!

11 out of 12 people so far have some form of herpes.

To the person who said, "no"............are you positive? have you ever had any cold sores on your lips?

I hope more people continue to weigh in here.

Franky is there a separate link just to look at polls when people are new or have been away from the forum for a bit?

I'm going to try to keep bringing it to the forefront.

Thanks everyone.

12 out of 13!

Thanks Natalie.

I just want to mention that this may have absolutely nothing to do with Morgellons per se, and may only demonstrate how many people have this virus. I do, however think the herpes virus is overlooked by medical science as a possible precursor to other diseases. It may be the basic roux for any sauce du jour (for lack of a better quick analogy) It may morph into other pathogens. Ever since I began researching parasites, I've been intrigued at the fact that there always seem to be more than one type of parasite (including fungi, bacteria & viruses) present when there is a disease. Or rather, I should be more specific and say when there is a parasite present, there is (almost?) always more than one type at the same time. I think that depending on the area in the body in which the cells are acidic the parasite which is present and normally innocuous invades that cell and ultimately the dna in later stages (and masked from white blood cells) and can morph into any other type of parasite it needs to in order to use that cell as a host.

Just my opinion of course. A funny expression I remember hearing that is an answer to "when the going gets tough".....

When the going gets tough, the weird turn pro.

Anyway this is one reason I began this poll. Could mean something. Could mean nothing.

Our ideas mean everything, its how problems get solved. ThankGod for you and everyone who says their truth with such elegance. Im ALWAYS afraid to just say how I feel. Im on different meds and emotional and mad and desperate.. sometimes. Right now. Yeah, the white blood count is low. Do others have what we do but arent showing symptoms, I think so. Some day soon they will just have a test for all of us cause this world is full of different BUGS as you say, as I say too. We all need a bug cleansing. The whole world. Noone will have to be careful with me here, I mean, just say it is how I feel. You have the right to take control. For Gods sake, we have been shut up for so long and so out of control. Good job!! I love when people take chances, it means the world to me! Thankyou....
