If there is no epigenone on a gene to tell it where, what and when( I think ) it will just reproduce itself as a duplicate. You're who you are because epigenones tell the genes in DNA what to do. I believe the thread in Safery's hand is just that. Protein, DNA without epigenones or just one that is self replicating to become a thread. Why? I think it is a homing device but it could be food for the Nematode. Need more INFO to see if this thread has been found in other places. WTG

I know it was one of the biggest controversies in modern microbiology. Is Nanobacteria still controversial in terms of it actually being considered a life form? The argument is that a particle just 20 to 200 nanometers in diameter can't possibly harbor the components necessary to sustain life. As there been any new info released on this? The particles are also incredibly resistant to heat and other methods that would normally kill bacteria, which makes some scientists wonder if they might be an unusual form of crystal instead of a living substance.

/*Researchers found strange nanoparticles in kidney stones that were self replicating. 50 to 100 nanometers across. whether these are living nanobacteria or an assembly of chemicals is the question. Now researchers are growing nanoparticles that match know bacteria. A REP from Nutrasilver wrote a letter stating that nanobacteria was causing morgellons and creating "hideous life forms". I posted that the letter was a total "SNOW JOB". WTG

wtg, good for you! nutrasilver is bogus. they are snow job artists that could create Santa's workshop on the north pole they are so good at it. my main concern is nanotechnology, genetically modifed organisms and food additves have no regulation. scary stuff.

Insect-parasite nematodes help farmers by providing ' biological control' of soil-dwelling insect pests. These nematodes can be purchased from commercial Labs and will kill pest insects. This is done by the nematode delivering a toxic bacteria to the pest insect. These nematodes can infect many insects but do not infect mammals. (YEAH RIGHT) ( SOUND FAMILLIAR) . I've heard they use them in termite control now. WTG

Franky, Nutrasilver called the monster a Nanomachine (referring to Morgellons). This right off is incorrect as a Nanomachine is a switch between the world of silicon (electronic signals) and the biological world of mostly unknown signals. My gut thoughts on the Nanobacteria of 50 nonometers across ( 1 nanometer=1 billionth of a meter) has to come from quantum mechanics. Wave particle duality says when you are conscious of a particle ( taking a physical measurement ) this becomes an event for you (wave function collapse ). So the argument dead or alive is like the Schrodinger's cat metaphor . I think all the chemical elements are alive and life is just a place where organized development takes place. So you're right on to say bacteria in a friendly or unfriendly environment will "strive to survive" and create what all life comes from. WTG
