I guess all i can say "why am i not suprised?"

I sent an e-mail to the office of the inspector general last week. I can see the delete button being pressed before it was even opened.

It might be more effective for hand-written letters going through the postal system, maybe registered mail requiring return receipt with signature required. Even if only 100 people here did this, someone would have to sign for those 100 letters.

One hundred letters from perfect strangers before we found each other on this site, different people, similar stories, wide-spread cities & towns, send pictures. It is time to get into the hearts of the people who are ignoring or are being told to ignore this.

The way through this is to get into their hearts, WE are real, this is real and there is too much suffering going on.

This isn't very uplifting, i know. Instead of replying to my reply, get out a piece of paper and write that letter:

In early November '07 I started meeting with Dr. Clifford Carnicom (aerosol crimes, morgellons morphololgy) and Dr. Gwen Scott (journalist for CBS, NBC, ABC & CNN) and consider them trustworthy friends. Gwen has been to the Pentagon on this matter and she found the brick wall. Dr. Carnicom as well with the US Air Force and the EPA. I found the brick wall sitting at the bar talking to an old friend from the 90's. He goes to Wash DC on a monthly basis trying to get funding for the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He didn't say or divulge anything "classified" but he knows the research being done and he knows the programs and he knows where the funding is going. When I asked him to look me straight in the eyes and tell me Morgellons is "nothing", he could not. He started crying, a 55 yo man crying because he could do or say nothing but "stop asking, you will find nothing, it is too dangerous, you will get nothing..."

I am telling you that the answers have already been answered. I have finally come to the brick wall and have been told to turn around. They know and are scared to death. The way through this is to get into their hearts, WE are real, this is real and there is too much suffering going on.

On second thoughts sadly I don't think we really can as British cits start to tell the Americans what to do !!! ;<( We'll have to go on tackling our own hopeless lot.. so sorry. But please everyone else do it. after all Jonsi's work, it's such a good thing. and by registering it and asking for receipt they will have to look at the letters at least.

I am confused, so what are they saying we have, I found a Infectous Disease Doc, just don't have any clue what to tell him. I have been absent from the board due to re-infection, had to go back to the treatments again, this time with the salt and perioxide I filled the tub with worm like things coming out of me, one has been in my foot for 6 months, also my eyes are so swollen, did get the EyeBright, thought it was to put in your eyes it's to take it orally. Confused on that one also.
Still taking the plaquenil and taking Doxy antibiotic. My hair is the biggest problem, cannot do the salt and perioxde bath with out taking a eco vie bath after, I did it last week and I thought I was going to die from the crawling and the itching.

Any clues as to what to tell this doc before I make the appt, I understand he is very good and believes in a Pic line. Thanks and have a Happy New Year. Oh my head is full of lesions, been working on them with Oil of Oregano, that seem to keep them at bay for a while, have to sleep with a paper towel over my face with eco vie or they drop from my head and on my face and bite me.

This is how I have gotten control of my life back. I don't have insurance and by luck a friend told me about a chiroprachter (sp?) that uses tbm. if you go to the site above and search for practitioners in you state hopefully you will find one.

The first thing i would be tested for is parasites and allergies to foods, medicines, anything that may trigger your symptoms. We are fortunate to have a "cookbook" of recipes and strategies that have really helped many people on this site. However, most of us have never been tested for allergies. tbm testing is quick and easy and (in my cases, several allergies, heavy metals, parasites) you can get tested and desensitized within 30 to 45 minutes. The last step after all the testing and desensitizing is to get de-sensitized to the Morgellons. My Dr. had never heard of Morgellons when I first saw him but he really did help me.

It is my belief that Morgellons "feeds" on toxins in our body and on stuff our body does not recognize and process naturally. I also feel that it is airborne and floats around everywhere, so protecting your skin with a barrier (I use dsp and Miracle II Products, eco-vie) helps block the new Morgies from re-entering. Maybe I should bring all the stuff I am currently using into my Dr. and have him test me to see if they are toxic to my body. Whats good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander....

Right on sista!!! Part of my dilema for ME was that there is soooo much information it was difficult to consolidate and focus on the points I wanted to highlight. But not impossible. Neils makes a good case but I'm not sure if the recipients attention span is equipt to handle ALL of it. Perhaps they would.

The MRF had a prefabricated letter to the Secretary to the HHS Leavitt on their website, perhaps send to Daniel R. Levinson instead? Tweak it to your specifications? Hope they don't mind me referencing them. It is usually best to use your own words. That personalizes it and has more impact but I know it is difficult to do sometimes. I sometimes jot down ideas in a notebook as they occur as a rough draft then organize them later when I'm more rested and organized.

Subject: Morgellons Investigation


Dear Inpector General Daniel Levinson:


Thousands of families in the US and abroad are reporting symptoms of a serious and disabling illness which is being called Morgellons Disease. Unfortunately, to date, no one understands the cause of Morgellons disease, nor how many US families are currently at risk for contracting the illness. Most families affected by this illness are looking to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for immediate answers.

I am asking that you make certain that this grave situation receives the immediate and full attention that any potentially infectious illness posing a public health threat would receive from the public health sector. Specifically, I am requesting that you ask the CDC to make the investigation of Morgellons disease a priority, to expedite and expand the upcoming investigation, and to inform the medical community regarding the CDC Morgellons investigation.

As you may be aware, the CDC recently hired an outside vendor to conduct the long-awaited CDC investigation of the disease. The current investigation is an epidemologic investigation, and I am asking that the CDC quickly move from an epidemiologic investigation to aggressively searching for a treatment and eventual cure for this disease. It should be noted that statistics gathered by the Morgellons Research Foundation indicate that 37 percent of sufferers have multiple family members who are affected, and that one out of six affected family members is a child age twelve or under.

I respectfully and emphatically request that you ask the CDC to contact state medical boards and physician groups as soon as possible, to inform these groups that CDC will soon be conducting this investigation. Since the majority of US physicians are unaware of the symptoms of Morgellons disease, it seems prudent to inform them about this public health investigation, as well as the distinct symptoms of this disease as soon as possible.

Numerous phone calls and letters have poured into the CDC from the public over the past few years asking for help, and the CDC has already received letters from 39 members of Congress asking them to expedite the Morgellons invesitigation. In fact, the CDC has received more inquiries regarding Morgellons disease than any issue in the agency's history.

I appreciate your rapid attention to this matter and seek your personal commitment to ending the suffering caused by Morgellons disease.
