Re: Ionic Breeze
I know the Green party may put a warrant on me, but the ionic breeze, may help for other reasons. Let me put this in context though:
I have read accounts of the ionic machines reducing mildew. Now all evidence does not support these machines as effective in removing dust and particles from the air. You can read this in Consumer's Reports. You need a solid air clear with a HEPA filter for that.
However, in my experience with an Ionic Pro (does not have an ozone filter and less expensive), it did seem to help neutralize the toxic feel of the air. Not just that it smelled clean, but it may have helped to bind up the afloxtoxins I suspected in my home from mildew and domaic acid. Took a couple of weeks but I noticed some improvement. I suspect it may have some affect like hydrogen peroxide on the air. Not removing the particles, but possibly helping to detoxify them in a similar matter.
Now that said everything is a double edge sword: I bought a little one for my desk while working and it exacerbated an adjacent woman's asthma. If this a concern for your hope, then please only run while you are outside the home.
So if you want to try, I would get the inexpensive one (about 20 dollars) at Walmart or Target. Try it while you are at work or whatever for awhile....and see if it helps you.
Again, though, I don't personally think this has anything to do with Nanotech. Not to dismiss any theories. Hopefully the CDC or qualified research will clarify this in due time. I have gone insane thinking about the multitude of factors that contributed to my medical mystery; this is natural from the ignorant responses we had each gotten from physicians who are overloaded with patients due to managed care... Even if it is nanotech related, there are ways to debride nanotech, I understand. Eventually we WILL have answers. For now, easier said than done, I try to focus on what brings some relief. And yes, it doesn't always seem to be the same thing for me every day either. There seems potentially light at the end of the tunnel since we have made it this far. |
