Default What are the rules?

Just checking in this morning and I see Chester's "inside the lesion" post has been locked, though I don't see argument (unless it was deleted), and I see enough interest and discussion to lead me to believe it was a valuable thread. Can someone give us the clear guidelines as to what is allowed and what lines we can't cross in discussion?

I know there are other morgellons discussion boards here on the web and maybe some other discussions need to be moved there, or if there's a specific topic we're not allowed to bring here, maybe a group would be started for just those topics. We all have different experiences with this disease (some with lesions for years and others with sensations and no lesions, and we all know we could go on and on with varying symptoms), and I thought as long as our discussion was mature, non argumentative and on topic, it was welcome here even if someone else had a different experience.

Could someone please give us the specific rules?

thanks,

karen

karen It was not the topic that was at fault .A little aurgument started up between two peole and it weren`t Chester`s fault. I will see if we can open it again. If not Chester could get another one going and called it something similar.
It was the aurguing that got the thread lokcked. Poor chester

Hi, I do not think it was Chester's thread that had the argument. It was a thread on nanotubes yesterday, and frankly I can see why the site owners got upset with the tone. Right now there are so many questions and no really proved answers about morgellons. It seems toleration for others insights/beliefs should be respected. Chester (Nancy) seems to respect others, so I too am puzzled about her thread being shut down. Maybe I missed something which has now been deleted in that thread, don't know. Anyway I hope all the brouhaha is ended. Life is too short for venomous arguments, especially when so many are quite ill. I feel that becoming well is easier with a positive and happy attitude, as much as is possible (which can be so difficult when not feeling good).

Thank you so much Carla for explaining, I wondered if I'd missed something. Please feel free to delete this post. I tried but could not delete it myself

Redibooks disagreements of course are going to happen. But what we don't allow are personal attacks on people here.
When it starts to get nasty the topics will get locked or posts will get deleted. By the way the rules are posted.

As I said, I totally understand now, I had missed the messages that transpired.

I also understand how the no sexual harassment rule was necessary to introduce when friski joined

Friski, feel free to pm me with harassment any time
