| Lisa, Here's what TCM would have to say about eyebrows and eyelashes. The organs which control growth of eyebrows and eyelashes are the lungs (and I do feel there is a lung parasite involved in at least one stage of this parasite--but of course that is my personal opinion only and is based on what I have learned in TCM). Hair of the head is controlled by the kidneys. Liver may also be involved. Western medicine teaches that when the outer third of the brows are missing one should investigate to see if there might be any thyroid disease involved. I do wonder how many have endocrine systems which do not function at optimum (thyroid and/or adrenals). This could definitely make it easier to get a fungal infection, parasites, etc. One thing to be concerned about is if the body temperature is lower than normal during the day. Doctors who say it is normal to be 97.8 usually have a patient who does not feel as well as s/he could. My body temperature used to run really low and I felt terrible. Finding a doctor willing to trial natural thyroid medication for my very borderline thyroid tests (in fact I have never really tested very high) has helped how I feel. Though it did not prevent me from catching this when I was exposed to what I believe in my case were fish parasites. My life at that time was extremely stressful though, so I am certain my immune system was not optimal either. And with thyroid problems the immune system probably never is exactly at opitmal levels. Adrenal problems may also manifest partially as low body temperatures.

| Very interesting observation! I have not ingested a lot of milk/dairy products ever since I became lactose intolerant during my last pregnancy. I have never liked milk (hated it is more like it), but the amount I drink has gone down dramatically in the last 10 years after the birth of my third child. Is it a coincidence that my symptoms sky-rocketed during the last 6 years? maybe.... Initially I had significant hair loss on my head - that has subsided over the last 2 years. But, I no longer have any eyelashes. Eyebrows have not been affected. I have no idea what any of that means, reporting "just the facts ma'am" |

| I have been a milk lover all of my life. I had to cut it out while trying to get over c diff-also had the morg sores. I had read so much regarding milk being a NoNo to ridding yourself of yeast, parasites, etc, that i have really cut down. But, I was a big milk drinker when this started. I run a low body temp all the time. I had a bio-identical hormone test done and it did show a lower adrenal function, but no one seemed to care............There are supplements called adrenal support. I may try them. Linda

| I'm not a milk drinker either but I like yogurt and kefir. I recently had a doc (that is familiar with lymes and morgs and sells a silver product that he says will treat these dis-eases), tell me I had to cut cheese, (yea, I know) and yogurt. When I told him I eat only non fat yogurt with 0 grams of sugar with added stevia, he conceded that it was ok. I have found though that Almond Breeze (unsweetened) with a little stevia in it is very very YUMMY! Always check the sugar content in the nutritional information when buying ![]() xo k |
