| Hi Lisa, I also think a plant pathogen may be involved in this. Research by Dr. Citvosky (spelling?) has found agrobacterium - a plant bacteria - in the wounds of morg patients he has tested and not in the wounds of those without morg. Agrobacterium inserts its DNA into the host and puts host cells to work for it. It may be able to do this with other bacteria. It is used in the food industry to insert "favorable" genes into crops - I have read especially plants such as tomato, potatoes, tobacco. I actually can not eat potatoes, tomatoes or peppers as they make my symptoms worse. With morg, seems to me there is a relationship between pathogenic organisms that has accomplished some sort of evolutionary leap. I think herbs are also effective with the plant pathogen component, especially root herbs - as this is a point of entry for pathogens and a primary place for plant control of pathogens.
