I have noticed that when I shop at a couple of particular stores, I have a really strong dermal reaction, in the areas I usually get them in-scalp, forehead, neck chin and hands ( okay, so everything that is exposed, basically . I also become lint magnet number one, like kicking it off my foot. Mostly clothes from Indonesia, or from a large discount retailer that we all know and probably despise for ethical reasons. Do you think it is a cotton nano or some kind of fly that dwells in clothing and heavily trafficked (and therefore dirty) shopping places? A silkworm? I have noticed so many things in the last six months that these postulations are stabs in the dark as I have not previously discussed any of this in detail with anyone.Anybody have a link or a theory?

walmart???? %&$$#@@!!*%$@ ![]() Yep, we've had many conversations about this cotton products thing, jsim1... Here's the thing...When things are being made by impoverished people in third world countries using child labor in some cases, but in most cases very dirty environments....they aren't even checked when they cross our borders. On the one hand, we can hope that after all these years our contacts with the stuff strengthens our immune systems. On the other hand, we are now dealing with nano-technology, bio-engineered products, agrobacterium and so many things all I can say is.... Be strong to the finish if you eat your spinach... ![]() Kritts

| Yes, interesting Pat. I knew from bad experiences that aspergillus is found in plant based digestive enzymes, citric acid, beano and soy sauce, but it boggles the mind to learn it is in so many other things along with other molds. Absolutely everywhere and no way to really avoid it. Even if people are not allergic to mold many have problems with molds in other ways. All those foods, drugs and fabrics that unexpectedly contain mold. Boggles the mind. And it does explain the knickers though. LOL. Sorry about that bit though. Wonder where we can buy organic cotton clothes these days, the ones made with real cotton. Quote:

I personally do not believe the bio cotton is not the cause of morgs,,because of the timeline,,,,,But I do believe it is dangerous..Seems like an easy way to harbor other dangerous bio-hazards,,by hitchhiking... I think the somewhat new artificial silk is more of a threat ,,because it uses live proteins as its make-up,,which basically what morgellons is doing now.. I have noticed that the "cotton" is more consistant in its structure,,,whereas the morg fibers ,are not,,,,,,,more random... I do plan on finding out more on their "cotton" making method..... And to label something as 100% cotton,,when it is not is WRONG!! I called the 1-800 # for dollar general customer help and they could"nt even find the vendor of the q-tips.... They told me to call corporate headquarters.... ME,,,call LONG DISTANCE to find out why they are selling crap!!BAHAHAHAHA

Hello Hurtin, if you are interested in this subject, I would suggest you might want to read our 'Paper Thread' here on MDR and the 'Toilet Paper Thread' over at LB..We made some very interesting observations, also discussing qtips. Kat
