Default Is this disease gene-specific?

I have a hispanic wife that does not seem to be affected, and my 2 kids have developed rashes before. Nothing serious, but I can find threads in their rashes. I have read somewhere that biotech is sophisticated enough to be gene-specific in who it targets, and I think it is possible that this disease is race(gene)-specific. So what race are you, for those that think they have this horrible affliction?

I am caucasion, but I remember Jay posting that she was african american. So, if you are thinking race specific, she defies that theory. Nowadays, few people are a pure bloodline, so, I would think it would be hard to "target" a specific race.

Good point, genes are complicated. I just thought I would throw the idea into public awareness, just in case.

willyb2 every type of "race" that I know of have reported to have had morgellons. From white, blk to brown have reported symptoms. Also like lindalu said, it would be hard to target just one race these days anyway. I truly believe the bottom line is its a disease just like any other disease.
