Since Chester no longer posts here, and the person who just posted on this thread (realitycheck) appears to view the thread and its content as myth, perhaps starting a new thread to discuss dermatology and fungal issues as it relates to Morgellons could be started? I don't know, but it seems kind of disrespectful to me to start this type of discussion on a thread originated by and mostly kept up by Chester to discuss her personal experiences in treating Morgellons lesions. She had a unique view of Morgellons and treatments for the lesions which apparently worked for her and maybe even some others. She is no longer here to support her views, so that is why it seems more appropriate to start such a discussion elsewhere. She helped so many here on MDR and still is missed by many members here.

I agree. Chester's thread should stay specific to her beautiful and eloquent contribution here.

Realitycheck..I've been to 5 dermatology depts at hospitals in U.K. & seen several doctors & have had this for 18yrs, I imagine you are in the U.S. I would love to try the things you suggest but if I suggested it to a doctor they'd go ballistic!! they won't give me Nystatin tablets, only if you have Aids, I will google to see if I can purchase stuff you recommend on internet, anythings worth a try....Spots..

I have just looked at 100s of photo's of TINEA CORPORIS & they look nothing like my awful skin, I've had deep holes, with worms coming out of them, & then 1000s of different coloured fibres, cream coloured eggs, great globules of blood in sac like things, I don't think you have the right idea about what we have, I will try to see if I can get anything you suggest as I know Nystatin is a fungal killer, its more like ringworm that you are talking about. but thanks for trying to help us...Spots

I do really think some type of fungus kick starts this thing...
The fungus attracts all types of insects and parasites in the environment...

I don't think this is a simple fungus and don't think it is easy to treat either.
I am pretty sure that I have a fungus all over my body... I don't have lesions, but I have rashes and large reddened areas.

Default carpet/blankets/clothes

I like carpet, and I like blankets. However, since this thing got into my girls body, we cant have carpet, or blankets. She sees fibers everywhere, and I cant see anything. I wish I could see something, somewhere, besides the internet, but I cant see them (fibers) at all. Is there a way to treat carpet, blankets, etc? Its almost winter. What is suggested to make my home cozy again? Do all of you do this too? I want to make her comfortable, but not have to be thawed-out in the spring. What about clothes? It's starting to look like the Rocky Horror Picture Show around here. Anyone??

space bags are great for storing clothes, wash and dry, then put into space bags and suck the air out with a vacumn.. these things are great!! they sold out at our local stores, guess ill have to do the online order thing, but any bugs that may be in clothes, will die if kept in an airtight, vacumn sealed bag for a few months..then only have the things you need out, keep the rest in the bags..thats what i do, it helps so much to get rid of dust,smells...
