Thumbs up Let the games begin

Hello all, first of all I will say it has taken all the courage I have to post on here...at this point in my life my friends think i've lost my mind my mom thinks im a hypochondriac, but I'm convinced I can finally find some people to relate with. Before I go into my story I will give a little background info on me. I am 20 years old and a sophmore student at the University of Alabama. . Right now I'm a bio major and just finished my first semester of organic chemistry (studying has been impossible) But here is the story that has led to my living hell: (long)

Back in May of 2011 I started itching right below my armpit.. I have a long history with allergies so at the time I literally didn't sweat it. In the back of my mind it was going to go away. Two months later in July 2011 I go to the doctor just to get it checked out to see if im having some kind of reaction to deodorant or some other irritant. Without even looking the doc said "It's probably just contact dermatitis. I was just relieved to here some kind of explanation for this round red spot. He gave me a moderate steroid cream and I applied that as needed for the itch. We all know, and as I've come to find out, the initial use of steroid creams are beneficial but that is only effective for short term relief. So about a couple weeks later I see new spots emerging on my backside. These new spots where itching to the point where it kept me up at night so I knew this was not your normal allergic reaction. I looked up some possible answers for my itching and the first thing I pointed to was scabies. I go back to the doc the same week and I had my first initial treatment of permethrin cream. The next day all the itching is gone, I feel good about myself. BUT the spot is still there...and stays there for weeks.
Even more spots begin to emerge right before I had to be back in Tuscaloosa for school to start. I was tired of these unknown spots that had now spread to my thighs, buttock, and back of my legs. My local doctor referred me to a Dermatologist that he thought I could visit the soonest. At this point the doc had ruled out scabies so I was looking for another thing it could possibly be. The ring like shaped of my lesions immediately had me thinking ringworm. I went ahead and started using antifungal creams ect. to see If it had any effect. None whatsoever. Talk about devastation. I'm pretty excited at this point to get to the dermatologist and see what in the world I have. I was baffled.. he looked at my leg for 10 seconds and said it was nummular eczema. I was so relieved to hear an official name for it. The doc prescribed me with steroid cream(once again) and told me that all my shampoos, soaps, ect. needed to be fragrance free. So I practically went back and dumped out my entire bathroom and switched to fragrance free moisturizers, soap, detergent, deodorant. The first week of treatment with the steroid cream and it immediately went away. Words cannot describe the initial feeling of finally seeing my clear skin. I had no flare ups for almost a month but it was to good to be true. It soon returned. I abused the steroid creams to the point where I think my body became resistant to it. I decided it was best to get a second opinion at a different dermatologist. At this point raised red bumps all all over me and have spread to my feet and hands. Some were even oozing. But long story short in my 2nd opinion in DECEMBER 2011 i was positively diagnosed for SCABIES. Are you kidding me ?? All this time I was told it was eczema and now we are back at phase one. I was given permethrin cream and Ivermectin and was told to immediately begin treatment. The first treatment went well.. the itching subsided and the bumps began to heal. However this was short lived too, and my dermatologist followed me up with a sulfur treatment..Which was about 3 weeks ago. After the first treatment over night I thought I was golden..I had no itching, the bumps on my feet and hands were gone and I could finally concentrate my mind on something else. 2 weeks later and here we are now. I am currently prescribed on prednisone and another itching cream and the bumps are as bad as they have ever been. "There's no way you have scabies." --my dermatologist on the phone this week. I am almost to the point of exhaustion from the amount of research I have done the past 72 hours to get to the bottom on this living hell on earth. I was looking up resistant scabies and I ran across the Morgellons disease . I reluctant browsed the symptoms and I almost wanted to cry. The night before I had done the unthinkable and bathed in borax and hydrogen peroxide. The things I saw come out of my body I could not believe. I will tell you personally I didnt believe it until I got an upclose look.... 3 millimeter size bugs were floating around in the tub along with red looking fibers. I had no idea of what to make of this (i now know they are spring tails). I have spent the last two nights in the most sincere meditation I've experienced in my life. I realize there is no cure for this detrimental, debilitating disease. I now know why I have had mucous in my sinus passages for months. I now know why my HAIR is falling out. And today alone my eyes are started to feel symptoms. But last night I had a break through. My fellow sufferers, the way I see life there is two ways to handle a situation.. Let it MAKE you or let it break you. With no support from doctors, we are on our own. I don't care if I have to swap my profession and become a damn scientist myself . WE WILL NOT BE DENIED. I am waking up from here on out with that very mindset. With a positive mindset anything is possible, and I honestly believe attitude is half the effort in conquering this. With prayer and WILL to do this we will find a cure !!!

THAT SAID.... I just dropped $140 at my local walmart trying to get on a strict diet plan with little to no sugars . As far as supplements I have :
Garlic
Magnesium
Zinc
Fish Oil
Flaxseed Oil
Probiotics
Vitamin C

Foods:
almonds
grapefruit juice (low sugar)
eggs
baby tomatoes
carrots
strawberries

Maintenance:
sulfur soap
rosemary mint shampoo
loofah
aloe lotions for lesions

Cleaning:
Borax w/ clothes
Borax in carpet
Windex everything

PLEASE give me any suggestions or anything that has worked for you. At this point I am open to trying new supplements

I realize I dont have much of a life, this has sucked so much energy out of my life that I dont have the time to do the things that I actually love to do . I am SET on getting to the root cause of this. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Default Welcome and attitude

Welcome and kudos to you for your take no prisoners approach. This forum is a wealth of information with regards to protocol, treatment, and most of all, support. Use it. Diet is a good start, but I don't see anything in your list re: leafy greens, which are very important, especially in early stages when you should try to attain an alkaline Ph. Sugar and alcohol abstinence are recommended as well, from my point of view.

Speaking strictly from personal experience, I follow a protocol of anti parasitics and antibiotics with an antifungal that has proven quite successful in reducing my symptoms significantly. If you would like more information, you can private message me and we can chat.

Others have had success with various other methods as well...

protocal.. may i ask where you got that word? that particular word sends red flags up, im just saying.
ok, first off, for cleaning supplies get space bags, pine sol and swiffer dry mops.bag everything fabric you dont use, wash your clothes seperate from anybody else. dont use borax if you have sensative skin, gain, arm and hammer, any liquid detergent works well.do you have wallpaper in your room? if its older than 20 years, get rid of it and paint with mold resistant paint.get bug proof mattress covers, this is a must!!
outside, do you have plants/brush close to your window? make sure to keep plants trimmed well and get rid of leaves that fell.make REAL sure to not have standing water, even a bird bath can breed bugs.do you have bug parts in any windowsills of your house? ( inside) if yes, then you got buggys...old books, old photos also make me break out in morgs anytime i touch them, so into the space bags they go...

appreciate it , like i said I'm new to all this .. all I'm hearing is that "protocols" are people's collective approach at taking on this thing whether it be vitamins, anti-fungus or diet change. But I live in a 2 bed room condo and it is only about 3 years old ..I do have sensitive skin but I don't think or cant tell if the borax has affected it? and as far as jackets and sweaters? do these things live on them , do I need to wash it everytime I wear it ? Throw it in the dryer for 20-30 minutes? this is beyond a hassle but I guess we all have to deal with it .

Default dirt dirt, bug bug and Manic cleaning

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not add to the manic cleaners, there is no special or strange and wild cleaning methods followed at my home.

Everything is kept clean untill its dirty then I look at it for a while and put a number on it to how much it may bother me.

Then I get out my wheel of fortune, wheel and spin it untill it stops on, clean house, clean bathroom, do laundry, and so on.

I will also if I have to clean ANYTHING, I have property so you know that entails yards, sewer, toilet, attic, you name it I have messed with it.

You should notice when you lay down for sleep that you will itch more if you itch at all.

Some times I would not itch untill I layed down, I am going to name this syndrome, I believe that the issue is blood flow or lack of it, others here will tell you the invisible bugs get them.

Do not go ape cleaning its kinda waste of time, do more for your eating habits, the colon is responcable for 85% of the immune system, so if its dying, so are you.

Spend the time you would have spent on manic attributes on meal planning, and some good old fashion exersize.

Or not, you could sit and wait at the window for some bugs.

wash when you see the dust.. its called doing your laundry, barak.
since your new, dont get freaked about barak, as long as you kiss his butt and tell him hes great, he likes you. but if you metion cleaning, he turns to another 'expert'. an expert that is sick, i may add.
my ways worked for me, thats wha i know. cleaning is a basic thing, im only manic when im being eaten alive by bugs.i hate filth. im not a fanatic about it, its not hard to keep clean, it is a big job the first time you clean, but simple tips make things much easier.
barak, have you ever been a caregiver to an elderly person? my dad is 86 going on 5 , 'your not the boss of me' type.. he will go out of his way to put spices in my food he knows im alergic to with the frame of mind 'its all in her head, i can add this and she wont even know' but when the milk smells funny, i dont touch it. why? i get sick... thats not in my head, that is a fact. i set up a camera in the kitchen one day to make sure it wasnt all in my head.. and guess what... i caught him .then i tossed the spices. he had a plant that i was alergic to, out of this 1/4 acre property were sitting on, this man doesnt prune the orange tree, hell he doesnt even water it. but this plant, he cared for like it was gold...since i made it disappear, no breakouts. ( not a morg breakout, a plant alergy breakout, like poison oak)
people that use the word protocal are usually trying to either sell you something or make you think that you need to do nutty things to survive, and thats not true.. if you want to examine your poo, be my guest, its your poo, but im here to tell you that you dont have to do that to get better.
the internet can scare you or it can hep you. morgs is real, its not because your crazy. its not caused by chemtrails or aliens, its not something that can be cured by sitting in an infrared sauna or magnets. a lot of people actually try things that are dangerous, and thats when i get upset. its not hopeless, its just scary until you learn to manage it. but when you first get this, you start doing research, the internet will frak you out because bottom line, nobody knows exactly what causes it and since the docs cant fix it, they play like it doesnt exist. they think that if they say its all in your head long and loud enough, our dumb little female brains will belive them. but its huffing and puffing. typical folks that would rather be loud and cut you down than to admit they have no clue either..
baraka doesnt like me, ( not losing sleep over it) because my little female mind isnt supposed to have thoughts other than what he thinks to be correct..

bottom line, dont let the internet or anybody scare you, yes, morgs sucks, it takes a while for it to go through its its 'stages' and the very best thing you can do is to be as intune with your body as possible. listen to your body, women do this much better than men,for whatever reason. probably because women are the ones to care for babys and they cant talk , so we develope a sense to know whats wrong without having to hear words.
dont do anything to yourself that doesnt make sense no matter how many people tell you to do it, if they havent met you, they dont know you, so they cant possibly diagnose you . what works for one person doesnt always work for everyone because a lot of people have health problems already that they either dont know about or they ignore, if you get morgs on top of an underlying health problem, then of course you wont get better till the first problems is fixed.. does that make sense?
listen to your self.. dont do anything that will damage your skin later. if it sounds crazy, it is, dont do it...
cleaning is not crazy, people got disentary until they learned to move the bathroom/outhouse so many feet away from where they live. they got bubonic plauge because they let rats in their grains.once people began to clean, presto, a lot of things that killed people stopped killing people once they began to clean..besides, living in a pigsty would depress anyone and if your depressed, its hard to get better.
have you seen the show 'hoarders'? people find dead animals, rat poo, cat pee, and guess what, tons of health problems, right? once clean, half the health problems are better.. if you breath nasty air, your lungs will clog. if you eat food that rats poo in, your gonna get sick.
cleaning also gives you something to do, get your mind in a different direction, the internet makes you feel hopeless, cleaning at least empowers you so you fell like your doing something for the better, and thats a good thing. if your mood improves, so will you. just dont do anything that doesnt feel right, listen to your inner voice. if your gut tells you not to do something, i dont care who tells you otherwise, if your gut says no, listen!!
but if your own doctor cant diagnose you, how can somebody on a message board tell you what to do? all im saying is to clean. just because barak is alergic to 'womans work', cleaning wont hurt you. it may actually help. or you can look at your poo under a microscope..
try things that make sense, dont do anything drastic. if the borax does work, keep useing it. but borax is made for hardcore laundry, most of us just have regular dirty clothes..if it irritates your skin, stop doing it. that goes for everything. if it hurts or makes things worse, stop doing that. listen to yourself, not some self proclaimed expert that never met you....just dont do crazy stuff that you cant undo later...

I find things w/ methol or peppermint oil help. also, eat less, a lot, plus smaller less complex meals. i feel like more time spent on digestion is less time spent healing. exercise. check out baking soda + apple cider vinegar on earthclinic (google that). also i am not sure supplements are the way to go...i spent 100s on them but then realize that most of them probably arent absorbed well by the body and contain flow agents like magnesium sterate, silica dioxide that arent good.

it sucks dealing with this so young.

yeah, when i first got this, when id use a menthol cream like ben-gay type stuff, it would go away, the problem is whatever you use, morgs seems to build up a resistance, so what works for a month, wont the next month. so what i started doing doing is switch products back and forth. for my open sores id use neosporin for a week, hydrocotizone the next week, a zinc based ( like diaper rash ointment) the next, etc.. so try switching stuff, when id get them in my throat and nose real bad, a halls cough drop would work perfect, but then it wouldnt.. stupid morgs are smarter than we want them to be... swicth up products, that works when one thing stops working.
id get so mad, just when id find something that would work, it would stop working.. so you try something else, that works, then it doesnt.. when that happens, but menthol helps other things, like when my back hurts, but if it stops working, try a new thing, then go back to the menthol. it seems the old remedys are still kind of good, some of them.menthols a definate keeper for your medicine chest
