I'd like everyone to give some good positive thoughts out to maryok who's been having a really tough time these past few weeks. (I hope you don't mind mary ). I'm hoping against all hope that its the herx symptoms giving her so much trouble and that she's about to come through the other side. In the meantime, I don't think that good wishes from the fabulous people here could hurt. I hate to see what people go through with this. Here's a feel better card from me ![]() xo karen

Maryok, Here is a BIG HUG from Minnesota. You have been such a positive influence on this site, made me feel better many times. God Bless you. I've had the ups and downs with this, seems like three steps forward and then one back (sometimes three back)and then I rear up again and go forward. You are going forward towards relief from this. x 12 = a dozen roses!

Mary Stay positive, I know its hard especially after seeing the doctor and having your hopes of someone understanding and helping you dropped in the waste basket. I have read your posts and was uplifted, and I am so sorry this is still having an effect on you. I will tell you that I have had this in the past and some how it went away. I have been having a very hard time dealing with this myself and wondering will it ever end. I have never had it in my environment before and I am so grateful for this site. I did not have anything like this before to fall back on. I want to thank you all for being here. I also want to say I am not the same Michelle that was on here before. I have been to this site, but was not a member until February. Michelle

My dear friend K, thank you, once again for being there for me through all the ups and down -- I was so incredibly touched (and a wee bit embarrassed) to see a post in my name. And thank you to all of you dear, sweet people for your compassionate replies. Just when I thought I'd seen the very worst Morgellons has to offer, I was suddenly hit with the most painful episode of my whole 8-month experirence. It's pretty gross but I'm going to describe it just in case (God, forbid) it happens to someone else -- so you know what to do. I tried a little experiment Sunday night: I took a bath in the enzyme laundry detergent I wash my clothes in -- and, as always, put my face in the water to clear out my eyes. I guess the enzymes started dissolving some of the bumps above my eyes -- and proceeded to drain fluid into the sockets (gross, I know -- sorry). At first, my eyes were really foggy. Then half an hour later, my left eye closed shut, filled with fluid and I felt the damn things biting into my eyeballs -- and granules scratching against them. I was pretty hysterical -- every time I tried to open my eye, I'd feel the biting. It was the most frightening experience I've had since my initial discovery of bugs living inside my body. Mercifully, 2 days later, my eye is just a bit sore but it's cleared -- including the biting specks and granules. Here's what I did: • took anithistamine to drain the fluids, • benadryl to help me sleep • took cough syrup (I could actually feel it killing stuff in my legs), • used Eco-Vie and Silver on top • slept with a menthol vaporizer next to my bed • used TONS of vaseline on the outside of my eye to break down the lumps And today, when I could see clearly enough to go online, sent an SOS to Bubba. Her great advice: fill a pan w/Eco Vie and water and bathe your eyes in it -- opened and closed. I hope this NEVER happens to anyone else, but in case it does, these things all helped. Tomorrow is my appt. with my primary care doctor when I wil FINALLY get drugs via Dr. H's protocol -- Yeah! Sorry for the long email and thank you all so very much for your kindness. I so appreciate it. ![]()
