doctor confusion

I have been seen by 6 different dermatoligists since this all started in June with lice. many of them i have had 3 visits per doctor. no sucess. Now Iam trying too get into see a infectious disease doctor at Jons hopkins but have too get a referal from another doctor. Has anyone gone this confusing route.

The doctors have to catch up on whats really going on Now. I don't think they know that all biting insects are Vectors carrying a disease. Which seems to be the case. I wasted $250 going to a infectious disease dr and had better luck with a DO that includes homeopathic remedies.

The infectious disease docs here don't treat anything but VD and things like that. Mayo will not see anyone with M. We have all had the roundabout treatment, I think.

I don't think my insurance pays for homeopathic remedies, but I am spending a lot of money trying to find something to help.
