| Hi Dzana, I wish I knew what we were dealing with as far as involved parasites. It would be wonderful if we did know what was involved. I have seen nematodes (along with other parasites), but whether everyone has nematodes or not that is the question which remains unanswered. Dr. Harvey, when he was studying patients with morgellons, seemed to find more than one type of parasite involved in his patients. And I think his early reports mentioned that he only found them in about 50% of patients. I know what you meant about weird shaped bug like critters. I am not sure those are alive, or at least not in the way we mean alive. I know it has puzzled some researchers who have even declared there are no parasites involved with Morgellons (I would say they are wrong in my own case). Parasite testing is pretty primitive and more parasites are missed than are diagnosed. Also parasites run in cycles. Test when they are not cycling in the body or test the stool when they are in the blood and bingo. No parasites. Then, too, what if there are parasites involved for which there is no test? The people who order tests and the people who run the tests only test for what is ordered and ignore anything which does not look like what they are testing for. As I get better lately with some TCM herbs to clear the intestines, large and small, I see less of what I call mysterious debris. I am feeling better lately and hope this is not just the lull before the next squall.

| Dznza, I have gotten better with dr. overman, EV has posted that there have been 3-4 others in various states, not including myself and my children, that have been symptom free for over a year. Though many here have seen great things with staniger, she is not the only nd that can help with morgellons. I suggest that everyone should research all alternatives to be able to make an informed decision. I also believe if you, or anyone else, has specific questions re: how long we have had this, what were our symptoms, what are our symptoms now, how much money have we spent thus far, I believe many here would be willing to be as honest as possible with you, or anyone else. Praying for you and us all. God Bless, kc |

| Tanya and Dzana, I agree about Dr. Overman being a possibility and also about the possibility of Chinese medicine if you get a good doctor. That was one of the things I looked into at first too. But to you Dzana in particular. Dr. Staninger is not the only person who talks about FIR, etc. If you are on a low budget please check out the book, "The Detox Strategy" by Brenda Watson. She works in a slightly different area but still focuses on detoxing just like Dr. Staninger. You will see many of the protocols overlap. I think her treatments are great as well. And you may want to use them as an adjunct to anything else you are trying. She also recommends FIR saunas, although she does not address M specifically. Irregardless, her protocols will help us no matter WHAT this thing is. So maybe that is a less expensive option for some. ![]() |
