Hello- My name is Ahna and I have had Morgellons for the last 3 months (with minor breakouts for years). I went to a local clinic and they gave me a dark purple ointment. I put it on and later found that it had stained my face so I stopped using it which was dumb of me. Well, last night, I decided to try it again because I'm not going out for a few days. I have had a swollen area under my jaw for about 5 days that wasn't getting bigger or smaller. I put the purple ointment on last night and water started coming out of the area. This morning the swelling is 90% gone!!! It also drew out some of the yucky stuff that was very deep below and was causing that swelling to begin with. I am going to go back to the clinic and find out the name of that ointment and will post it here. Also, one thing that stops the burning and itching is anti-fungal cream or athletes food cream. It brings instant relief!!! Another product I found that works wonders is something I make... it's Mineral Foundation Powder. It contains zinc oxide which also soothes irritated skin (they use this mineral in baby powder for diaper rash, lol). Well, I also read about the benefits of using bentonite clay powder so I added some of that into my formula. It also contains a mineral with an SPF factor and a mineral that COVERS up the redness! If anyone is interested in trying my foundation formula for Morgellons, please contact me. Part of the proceeds I will donate to research! I am also doing a full body detox and boosting my immune system with a special detox tea. After 3 days of using the tea, I have noticed a bit more energy. The fatigue from this is insane and I sleep a lot. Lowering stress also helps a lot. Well, nice to meet everyone. I hope I offered up some help. Sincerely, Ahna Northern California OH, I started a group on FaceBook. If you would like to join, please contact me because I can't post the link until I make 15 posts, lol.

It is helping, I should report that a bit of swelling came back tonight so more purple stuff. As soon as I am healed up a bit more and can let the purple fade, I will go back to the clinic. I hope they will tell me what's in it or the name. They gave me some in a plain jar. I honestly think that the clear liquid (water) from the lesions is the body trying to flush out the fiberous stuff or the granuals. At least that is what I have noticed. But also try the anti-fungal cream because I noticed similar results and man, it really stops the burn and itching!!!

| Purple stuff sounds like gentian violet which is anti fungal and was the stuff I put all around my gums with good effect.Certainly took the pain away.

Well, I still have the swelling... there is a lot of junk coming out still. I think the purple stuff draws it out which is good but when does it stop? So annoying. The fatigue hit me today... been sleeping a lot and have the ringing in my ears.

Yea, it sounds alot like gentian violet to me. Gentian violet is a dye extracted from coal tar that dyes an area of skin inhibiting the growth of fungus or bacteria untill the dye washes out. I used it a bit back when I was infected and it helped to a degree but wasn't capable of doing what other treatments did. I did notice that the gentian would dye follicles for days longer than the surrounding skin in an area that was infected, which is a good sign that backs this being a fungal issue that affects follicles.
