newbie and need a moment to take this all in. SO SCARED and alone.

I am totally floored by what I have been reading here..and really need to take it all in. These are all my symptoms to a T (except for fibers) and Im fading away. Started with weird black dots imbeded in skin and now at point where I have been called diluional by doctors and sit every night watching worms go in and out of my hands and feet and mouth. I can barely type my fingers are full of red and white worms that HURT and bite and make me bleed really bad. My fingers go hard then so soft that it scares me like no bones in it. feel crawling all over and hard to breath now with a dry short cough. Im afraid as i feel like my long blonde hair is getting thinner and thinner and cant hear out of my itchy ears. never mind that Im a walking skeleton where it is scary ribs stick out. I have scabs that havent healed in months and if i pick the very painful scab off..it is like it may disapear in front of eyes. I havent slept in months and been called dilusional and seeing things from many dr.s

I need so much help and dont know where to begin. Im a single mom of a 3 year old who has it too I think. I cant clean house as hurts fingers. moved into one room to centralise mess

anyways..more later. I feel relieved but scared is this does not sound easy to get rid of

Welcome here. Try to take comfort in the fact that some have gotten well, and many are better. There are answers here but not each thing will work for everyone.

Also, there is an awful lot of speculation about this condition, and some of it quite scary. IT IS SPECULATION. I would suggest you avoid those discussions because they will not help you to get better.

Where do you live? Perhaps there is someone in your area, or maybe someone here has the name of a doctor near you who can help - at least by validating your condition.

Thank you as yes..there is so much that scares me..what would you recommend for my hair that suddenly is thinning?? And how about to soak my hands in so I can use them since on my own with baby. They are so painful as undernails is full of critters that are biting and making pressure. UGH. SOUNDS SO gross but very clean person wear rubber gloves when cooking and touching my baby :O(

Thanks for sharing your experiences 3carat and sorry to hear that you have this.

I would recommend adding sea salt and 3% hydrogen peroxide solution in warm water to soak your hands in. Maybe start with a weak solution and see how you go.

Member 'Dragonfly' is making good progress now with treating her poorly fingers. I'm sure she could advise further if you send a private message to her (you will need to post on the boards a few times before you can send messages).

All these caring people can help you. Be sure and do not tell the next doctor you go to, what you think you have. But, if one of your doctors would - I think that you probably need 1 month of dewormer. That helped me a lot. Made me feel better mentally and physically.

Do tell where you live, as someone may hook you up with a doctor that "believes".

I read these and it makes me feel better..I cant actually believe some one else has hands like mine. As one dr. told me I need a psychotrist (sp)?) as no worm/parasite would do that to hands (they are raw and bleeding with open wounds and all around nails is red bleeding and raw..knuckles look loaded with thick something) and because I told them that worms are coming out of my sons nose. I paniced as he was serious and Im single mom..my boy is my life and what I live for.

the mental anguish I go through is like no other as alot of action is at night with these worms and know one else is with me here(although can now see ones in my lips quite a bit better)

I live in Vancouver Canada. I WOULD LOVE a dr. refer who knows what Im going through as have gone to at least 5 and in hospital 2 times..all have told Im delisiounal as the vermox and other med they put me on should have cleared it.

I just dont understand why they dont know about this one?

thanks for responding ...I am at my braking point..have been home alone for 3 months off work and feel at dead end..again.

Do you have old plumbing or any mold in your home? Any recent flooding or plumbing leakage?

God Bless you! Try and get some Ivermectin, you have to take it several times, here in the US you need a script, don't know about Canada. Ivermectin is NOT GOOD FOR LIVER ISSUES!. Do your homework, it may not work for you. Stool samples, Great Plains Laboratory.

Lambster...can you give more info in the great plains lab? Is it an independent? Does one need a scrip?

Kritts, haven't done it yet myself but they do offer folks to help through out process from what I understand. Yes you need a script, yes they will help you with that. I don't know this for sure as I have personally no done it yet but I trust the person who gave me the hat tip.
