Introduction and of course question

I may be off a a couple of years but not many. I don know that around 83 it began showing small signs of change to my body. Not very major but noticeable. Then some where around 83 I had a motorcycle wreck (face first into a tree) not a good day. After the wreck a large cyst grew directly in the middle of my forehead. When it began to protrude 1/2" or more, I went to the doctor. He cut the area and with pliers pulled the cyst out. You could hear it tearing away as he pulled it out. After that, things got really bad. More symptoms and the itching sensation began and has never gone away. It got progressively worse through the mid 90's. Then the sores became less and less and I almost stopped having them. I still have a few now and then.
My problem now is the itching sensation. It feels like what ever they are (strands/fibers) are actually running through my hands and fingernails. I will rub (pull) at the area that's hurting. It's been my mouth and face the last year or so. Feels like the embedded fibers cling or catch my finger nails and the rubbing pulls them, sometimes out, but not in a long time. I have lost a couple of teeth in the last years that may have been caused by these problems.
I am having a hard time writing this as many years of humiliation of taught me to keep quite.
Luckily, I still have my mother to talk with.
What I would give for a normal life.

Hi Eddie I am carla I`ve had this for 3 years but I always believed I`d had it for 7/8 years because some symptom's started then but recently found I have Lyme disease from a blood transfusion 8years ago but it`s got almost same symptom's as morgs.Maybe you had lyme for a few years first .When did you first notice any morgs only things ,like little white wormytype things or threads ,or debris in bed in morning .It`s not that I think you could not have had it so long,I`ve heard plenty who say they have.
What time does the board open anyone.My keyboard is sorted(repaired) and I cannot wait!!!!See you there Carla

The morg symptoms all began after 1983 and the cyst removal.
For me that was the real beginning. Before that I began to notice changes in the skin texture and wrinkling or pulling of the skin in places. Many of these still exist today.
I can't ever remember being treated for Lyme but I may have.

Hi motoed...glad to have you join us...you should definitely get the help you have been waiting for here...no one here to dismiss you or tell you it is in your mind...we have all been there, but not so many as long as you...I cannot imagine....I have only had the skin problem for 6 1/2 months, but I think a lot of the other problems in the last 9 yrs since the Fibromyalgia...some of the same symptoms exist for both...do the treatment steps...baths, etc...great help...Order Eco-vie and DSP..2 must haves...really good stuff...send Bubba a private message and ask about doctors in your area...these are docs that treat Morgellon's...good luck and if you have questions, we are all here to help...hope that we can do so...Kentucky haze

I started with cysts and lesions, and ulcers (but NO fibers in the very beginning.) back when I first lived in Florida, and was in Medical school, in my mid-20's, MORE than 25 years ago, in 1980 or so.
