| HI Pdidit, I'm sorry you're feeling down and glad you are sharing it with us. It seems we take turns and thank goodness we have each other here to vent to. My son just called and said, "are you okay? Alan told me he's worried about your health...would you tell me if you're not okay?".....I told him no, I am not okay, and I've been trying to explain to everyone that, although I look fine, I have Lyme and SOMETHING ELSE.....He had to hang up and will call me later. Let's see now....how long have I been trying to express this to them?? duhh uhh... Anyway Pdid, what about getting some of this Diatomaceous Earth and spread it around? Your doc is probably focused on the Lyme first since he has no clue about Morgellons as we don't. Hopefully if he gets the Lyme under control and outta here it may take care of the Morgellons. The yellow nails are a sign of fungus. xoxoKritts |

| Pdidit - No need to apologize for being "negative"....happens to all of us....we are not saints. I want it gone yesterday, too...or even an absolute ANSWER about what it is, even if the news is bad, you know??? I just want to KNOW. This limbo is becoming unbearable. I sure wish I had an answer about the environment. Many think the environment isn't even an issue, that it is just "shed debris", and that treating our "internal" and skin "environments" is what is required. Then others go nuts cleaning, spraying, etc. I don't even know from my own experience, although I am inclined to think that at certain stages some sort of infective "travels" in the environment. I have seen things that look like skin-toned, tiny larvae with dark head in the environment. That was before I even knew this was Morgellons. I saw it under magnification "waving" like a cobra. God, if I only knew what I had at the time!!! A "live" specimen would have been so valuable! I just threw it away. I am inclined to believe that Lyme is a common co-infection, though not always present, and that treatment of the Lyme can help. But I don't think Lyme is Morgellons (many do, I know), and I don't think that treatment for Lyme will help Morgellons, though many of the symptoms overlap so some relief is possible. I'm so sorry that it is so rough for you right now...and I pray for all of us. | sadsack--- i just want to thank you for your herculean transcribing efforts here! oftentimes i don't feel like i have anything significant to contribute, and so i won't post. but i'm here and reading whenever i can! pdidit--i hear you loud and clear on the weariness front. it doesn't help when those around us can't seem to wrap their minds around what this is like to live with (witness kritters son...) it really bums me out that while my loved ones are rooting for me to get better, no one is taking the time to read and learn anything about the disease. their apathy says reams to me about how they view the problem. if i had diabetes or lupus or even cancer, i know my husband would be on the internet night and day trying to learn about it. hugs to everybody--this disease sux. kelley |

| Kelley - The transcript in it's entirety was already online. I just had to remove page breaks, and decide when I had to go to the next page (on this forum) through trial and error, just through copying and pasting, and maybe deleting. Took about 45 minutes cuz I didn't see the short cuts right away!!! I've read it 3-4 times already...there is so much in it.... I can't wait for the DVDs!!! SS |

| The DVD's should be out by next week! ....I am inclined to believe that Lyme is a common co-infection, though not always present, and that treatment of the Lyme can help. But I don't think Lyme is Morgellons (many do, I know), and I don't think that treatment for Lyme will help Morgellons, though many of the symptoms overlap so some relief is possible.... For my opinion I believe that existent Lyme or Chlamydia pneumonae bacterias for example are being "used" by Morgellons related bacteria and fungi. They use the hidden bacteria of Lyma and Chamydia in our tissues to adapt to them. Lyme is not Morgellons Disease and I believe not a co-infection either. Morgellons could have a similar vector like insects but I don't think Morgellons and Lyme Disease are "passed over" together. Treatment for Lyme and Morgellons can help if the right antibiotics are taken...they must be tissue passable. Morgellons Disease "sits" in the lymph system and deep tissues together with Lyme. That's why some Lyme antibiotics help. The fungus is passed over (fungus is everywhere) due to the weak immune system also the parasites some experience. Bacteria feed on fungi and vice versa...Morgellons Disease is for my opinion a multi infectional disease with several soil related bacteria and fungi. Could be that quorum sensing antibiotics are the clou. Katinka |
