Morgellons or something else

I do not know that I have Morgellons, but I have been dealing with strange symptoms since the early 80's after having quite a bit of dental work done. I have found the selsan Blue to be a big help.

Hi Michelle, Thanks for the great story. The black specks are very interesting as I've heard this before (black specks in the pores and on the skin). If you go to www.safe2use.com/scabiesboard and Click on " Black dots found on the skin" you'll see a series of pictures that was sent to this site. With a microscope compare these to yours. If this is not a match, try taking the specimen to the County Vector Control. They may be helpful in resolving your problem. WTG

Hi Michelle, Please go to the morgellons treatment steps in this site. I too had the black specks and fibers, or hairs that were very painful to pull out (I still do but not to the extent I did previously). I have been following the treatment steps, soaking in warm water, peroxide and table salt. I wash off daily in the shower with selsun blue (as you have been using). Every other day I use salt and vinegar to soak in. In addition to that, I take odorless garlic tablets and take Vitamin C. There is a DSP lotion also that is extremely helpful - it helps to heal the lesions. Another thing that has also been very helpful is Am Lactin lotion 12%. All but the DSP lotion can be obtained at the store very inexpensively.

It sounds like some of your symptoms may have been related to the filling. My goodness - you poor thing! Did they get it out? Many of the other symptoms, however sound like what I have gone through with morgellons. You will find much support and helpful information here. Welcome and hang in there!!!!!

Hi Michelle. You've come to the right place. I'm not 100% sure I'm dealing with Morgellons, but I am doing the treatment steps and have improved dramatically. I use the D-S-P cream as well and it has been an awesome product for me. I actually feel like I have almost normal skin for the first time in 18 months.

In reading your story, I was wondering if you were dealing with the symptoms of Lyme Disease as well. Bubba, the one who created the treatment steps gave some helpful advice to a newcomer recently, and I'd like to include her suggestions in this post:

2. Next, I suggest that you read pages 9 and 10 in the following document and answer the questions in the diagnostic checklist and try to do a self evaluation to see how many symptoms you may have in this document...here is the link:

If you find that you have many of these symptoms, I am going to suggest that you read the entire document and print it out and take it with you to a Lyme literate medical doctor (LLMD). Referrals for Lyme-literate physicians may be obtained at:

4. There is a website that I am going to direct you to that has an online VCS (visual contrast sensitivity test) designed by Dr. Richie Shoemaker to test for neurotoxins. You take the test on your computer and it is very easy and painfree. If you test positive, you can pay for a protocol to help you battle the neurotoxins. You can also ask Dr. Shoemaker to direct you to a physician in your area that can treat you.

5. Read the information provided on this forum to educate yourself in what you are dealing with. Keep in mind that many individuals have posted their "theories" about this disease. I am not saying they are right or wrong, they are just giving their perception and thoughts about the cause and/or epidemiology of this disease. Currently, the CDC is just beginning their research and no one knows exactly what we are dealing with... yet.
