Keep in mind it might be a good idea to have a few types of useful shampoos on hand. This will prevent disease adaptation. I do think with topical care what seems to work best for most at any rate to periodically rotate what you use.

Oh I forgot to mention that Henna is a metallic dye as well. The hair must grow out beofre using permanent color used or the combination can also cause breakage.

If you leave on the Dr. Miracles Shampoo for one minute you can feeli it tingling and it soothes the scalp. When you shampoo you also want to do scalp massage.

It is best to do this using the fingerpads in circular motions to where the scalp skin moves and circulation increases which it beneficial. It also loosens up dead skin and impurites in the scalp as well.

Please keep me posted on how the shampoo works for those who try it. Even my mother who is 70 loves it (no she does not have Morgellons I have made no one sick thank goodness). It is a relief to know some things which kill Morgellons can smell good. Hurray!

I used to use Selsun Blue Medicated and I tell you my shower at my old place had the rotten egg sulphur smell over a year later. I cleaned it with everything too. Eww

I switch between selsun blue shampoo and Miracle II soap.

I've never smelled rotten eggs... (unless I fart ).

I used so MUCH of that shampoo in the beginning it left a permanent impression in my shower NOT on me fortunately. It was the sulphur residue on the tiles no doubt. I mean I used lots and lots of it all over as topical treatment to be truthful.

It is good stuff Selsun Blue. So on the body the menthol is soothing and so a person smells good. My old shower I am happy to report was the only casuality. It had seen untold bottles of the stuff over a period of about 2 years straight.

The Dr Miracle's shampoo smells REALLY good though. It has peppermint oil and clove leaf oil in it.

Default Colored hair to kill whatever but,

before I knew what was going on with me I colored my hair figuring I'd kill whatever was on my head.

To my horror, the feeling didn't stop and what I once thought might be turning gray din not color but STAYED WHITE.

These were the ones that moved, literally stood up straight, and twisted themselves around hairs on my head. It made me think of hyphae which fungus grows. I did some research and sure enough, hyphae stand up and sway back and forth looking for food, MY HAIR.

Needless to say, I have had my head shaved for about 2+ months now. I won't grow my hair back until and if there ever is a cure for this. I started to check the rest of my body and, well you can take it from there. I don't want to get to far into it, I had a few days this week I wanted to die. I even asked my husband to shoot me. I knew he wouldn't but I guess it felt good to say.

Posey,

Sad you had to post it, but I'm so glad to read I'm not alone. I totally agree our hairs are fungal now. I've posted previously that I never had more than a basic few silvery hairs, hardly noticable at my old age of 60 until just a few months ago. Now I have the white (not pretty silver) hairs from h-e-l-l. Sticking up straignt, bobbing and swaying. I haven't seen them wrap around anything yet...I have been plucking them out. I mean...they stand STRAIGHT UP!!! taunting me!!!! DARING me to realize what they are!!! So now I have a lot of them. I've been using Selsun Blue and I have no lesions in my scalp. I know it's systemic, and I'm not going to drink selsun blue....so I'm going to order the MMS because from what I have listened to, I believe it will work.

And I know how you feel about wanting to die. And I'm glad your husband wouldn't shoot you.

Hi Posey. I understand your frustration regarding hair. It took me over two years to grow out my hair. I had two failed attempts at growing it long again.

The first failed attempt resulted is an infected neck, the second an infected spine. It was awful. I never did have to shave my head but I kept it short for a long time.

Why? I figured the disease needed something to do. I did not want Morgellons getting into my ears and near my brain.

Hair coloring does help. I use Dr. Miracle's shampoo, Selsun Blue medicated I have used in the past, and sometimes I wash my hair with Palmolive Oxy Plus Dish Soap as weird as that sounds. The dish soap I have used for my body as well for a long time now. I think because it is oxygenated why it kills the disease.

As for a cure for Morgellons I always search and have hope. I will say 100 percent remission (or very close) is possible. I had two days of 100 percent remission. I want to get there again.

Posey I DID find this neat site that has some pretty good headwraps and scarves which do look nice. The best fabric would be silk to wear.

This is the silk scarf headwrap site with many nice fashion choices:
Head Scarf | Head Scarves For Chemotherapy and Cancer .

Post Hair color, sinusitis and fungus

I just wanted to give a heads-up that I had given some of my observations in the Fungus thread of Kritts if you feel like checking out the connections. There are connections between fungus, sinuitus, haircoloring and all the rest. Hope it's ok I posted in both treads about it.

By the way, LC you are such an amazing source of useful information. I have found many of your previous threads and they have helped me immeasurably!!

Thanks, Faithxoxoxox
