When I was researching lice and the history of it, I am sure it said it started in the clothing industry or fabrics long ago. It was a bug transported with fabric and as long as there is clothing, there will be lice?? Pretty sure that is what I read. WOW!!!

Hi, thought I'd add my two sense - I mean cents (ha) (that's about how much sense I have - just 2) Anyway, My observations (the forms on the skin) and much research has led me to the following: The threads that move (clear, or white, usually about 1 inch or less in length) - are called "cruisers" - they are a stage in the life cycle of the parasitic nematode. This nematode has been used extensively on cotton and many other crops. It is called a cruiser (Google "Know your Nematodes) because it is very aggressive in searching for prey (it's supposed to hunt for grubs and other "nuisance" bugs in crops and in lawns) - And it does, except.... It doesn't know it's not supposed to hunt us too - Meaning, it is feeding on the flora and fauna present on our bodies - it's going after Demodex (naturally occurring in the hair follicles), fungus (we all have it), and in the case of Morgellons, the organism (I believe it's an aquatic crustacean) that lives under our skin... If you want to see it, play the shaving cream game. You can use the shaving cream wherever you want - around lesions is good, (smear it all around), but hands/face and neck, feet and ankles are good spots too. We'll get through this somehow. Really.

When wearing our clothes, is there anyone else who believes the shorter fibres are coming from our own bodies? I do. I shake my clothes before I put them on to see if any crap comes off of them. Most often nothing flies off other than the norm. But after I have worn them for a few hours they seem to be filthy. I vacuum my clothes on me throughout the day. I use to vacuum them before putting them on. I even considered using the carpet cleaner with the upholstery tool to wash my clothes this way when I took them off. I see these things all over in every store I go in. Some look like the hair strand type. Some are the wave type, some the fuzzball with the short or long fibers sticking out from them. Just recently I picked up a prescription at pharmacy and due to it being a nice day I had my car window open. All of a sudden the monster one with very long leggie fiibers blew in and landed on my arm. Out it went and up went the window, I also think that some of this stuff in stores has come off of other shoppers. I believe there are many people who are not yet aware that they have this because they have not experienced any of the "feelings". Once this begins a person starts to investigate what is crawling on them, as any normal person would do. I mean, who feels things crawling on them and does not give a S_ _ _. So to any derms out there, we do not have the problems they think we do. The one to worry about is the one who doesn't care that something foreign is invading their body. If they don't care about themselves, how can they care about their fellow human being. However, I am not at all talking about someone who tries to cope by ignoring it to a certain extent. People have to work and a coping mechanism is needed. I mean the people who just don't care about being "buggy". There's been times when I just have had t get it out of my mind or I would go nuts. It's a horrible thing and yes, as it has been said before, IT IS REAL. posey
