Unhappy UPDATE on SeaSprite, test results, and drug/supplement regimen

I have seen the Lyme Literate Doc 2x now, once in November and just this week.

I got some of the test results back.

Originally it was the Igenix test that came back positive in one area, but they did a new Western Blot at Igenix and that came back positive according to the CDC standard, so I definitely have Lyme.

Also I am thankful for the list of tests that someone recommended. On my CD-57 I got a result of *26*

The norm from low to high is 60-360

So mine is very low indicating chronic moderate to severe disease. I guess if it is below 20 then you are -seriously- ill.
So I'm gald for those 6 !

I guess they test you every two months to see if the number improves. It seems the lyme critter attacks these lymphocyte cells (?) that are counted with this teset and that no other infection makes those low, so it is a good lyme marker.

I am pissed at the guy who tested me last year and said I was fine. though i felt more fine then than i do now on the treatment regiment.

This is what I am taking:

8am - With Breakfast
Amoxicillin (2 capsules)
Probenecid (1 tablet)
Flucanazole (1 tablet)
Alpha Lipoic Acid (1- 300 mg tablet)

10am- w/snack to help prevent upset stomach (LOW CALCIUM/ NO MEAT)
Doxycycline (2 capsules)

1pm (LUNCH) (you may have calcium & meat)
Amoxicillin (2 capsules)
Probenecid (1 tablet)
Daily Vitamin
Fish Oil

3pm NO FOOD
InflaMed (2 capsules)
Trasfer Factor LymPlus (1gel-cap)

4pm- HIGH CALCIUM SNACK
Probiotics

6:00pm- DINNER (you can eat meat & calcium)
Amoxicillin (2 capsules)
Alpha Lipoic Acid (1- 300mg tablet)
Probenecid (1 tablet)

8pm- snack to prevent upset stomach (NO MEAT/ NO CALCIUM)
Doxycycline (2 capsules)

10pm- snack (may have calcium & meat)
Probiotics

I am going to add cat's claw, and vitamin d in there also.

So far the progress i have noticed is that one lesion on my butt (the really thick one) has been getting less thick, like it is healing from the inside and the layers are coming off when i bathe.

I am treating this like lyme, I don't have the energy to do all the baths, etc. and so much cleaning. I don't really have the fibers that much anyway. But I am bleaching my towels and using new ones almost every day. Before I woudl use the same one for a week.

I am having a hard time and could use some support.

I am kinda depressed to learn about my immune systme and I have been falling aslpee during the day which is unusual for me.

Seasprite... don't be low... you seem to be on a great regime and I'm so glad you have found a lyme literate doc to help you and that you have the proper results. I tried to send you a pm but you need to clear your inbox !!

Keep going and keep happy.

Hilly xx

Seasprite ... I was like that too ! lol.. but go to messages, click on inbox when you get a list of your messages there is a little box at the end.. tick on those and at the bottom you'll see you can click on move to folders and when you get delete, just delete.... sorry that sounds very complicated but it's not really. If you can't get it, perhaps someone more articulate can explain better ! Hilly x

There was a list of tests that lady colorado or kritters sent me.

But my doc knew enough to order most of them anyway!

Fabulous...you're so fortunate to have a doctor with a working brain. What State do you live in, Sprite?

I went to a Lyme doctor that was on the list here and what a sad substitute for a credible Lyme specialist he was. By the time I left his office, he didn't like me very much ;-) Doctors who say they are Lyme specialists...may not necessarily be so (caveat emptor). sounds like you found a great doctor. Be happy ;-)
