| I am quite worried about both Ali and Mat. In the past, others have come into these groups and then just disappeared. I often worry about what happens to them, and I think it is important that we somehow keep track of what is happening within our "club". I think it is really important that we find at least one other person that we have grown comfortable with (through emails) and exchange real names and phone numbers. I feel so helpless not knowing who Ali and Mat really are and how to reach them. It seems no one on this board knows either. Right now there are 3 people I have emailed (not pm'd), and one has my phone number on this board. I know people on other boards as well. PLEASE, everyone....do this. And if there is someone who just disappears, we have to be vigilant and check with them. If others are asking about someone who we haven't heard from, it would be great if a couple of people were in the position to check on them and report back. Of course, practice due vigilance - don't give your number out to just anyone. But I think the risk of doing so is justified. SS |

I disappeared "on-line" for almost three months because I didn't have a computer. I kept in touch by talking to Niecy, buggedout2, bobbyjoe, seasprite, tracy, ladycolorado, gwen, clifford, godschoice, kmar, michelle, natalie, paddle, rae,... on the phone. A compassionate voice on the phone can be a life line. Someone to share the experiences us "morgies" have in common really does help. ![]() iTWL, ~jonsi

| Here's an idea. Why don't we just all live in our own community? I'm not trying to be a smarty pants, and I know people can't just pick up and move, especially when they probably can't sell their house in this economy. It just seems to me that if there's no medical talent to treat what's happening to us, then we should team up and form our community, a community free from nay sayers with like people trying to help each other. There's power in numbers. My house is infested anyway and Courtrywide can have it. I can't afford my mortgage, can't find a job, and find anyone in Memphis to treat my condition, or even believe me. I bet a lot, or all, of my (our) drama and hard times would go away, I (we) would get the proper medical attention, and I (we) could meet, live with, and help our friends (each other) if I (we) were in a community of us Morgies. What do yall think? Why not? The rest of the world, or very few in the world, except ourselves, are of any help. Somebody get it going and I'll dedicate my life, every ounce of energy I have, every resource I have or can get, to making it happen. I'll start packing me and dog, Bailey, today. Alan |
