Dear Friends, I have had many problems trying to get connected to the forum, and today I am able to get in, trying to remember how to use it.

Last winter I begged for a referal to an infectious disesase specialist to investigate lyme disease, get that cleared up, ruled out, etc. He did a ton of blood tests, and both Western Blot and ELISA were negative. He sent me home, you are fine. I went back to my primary care doc, unsatisfied. He said there is the igenix lab in CA and they do more extensive testing.

So that test came back positive. I don't have the results in front of me at the moment, but there were three sections and in each one there were 7 divisions if you had like 3 of the seven + then the whole section was positive. In the first section I think mine was 5 of 7 + so that means the whole test was pos. They are testing for the DNA of the lyme critter.

So he said, well, I don't believe in lyme but if you want I can refer you to this other doc who knows more about it. So it took many months to get an appointment.

So last month, he takes one look at my results and says "hon, you have lyme" and I then asked him about Morgs, he said "what about it?" and I said do you think it's real? He said "yes" I almost fell over. I cried right there in his office, because all this time I have just been wanting to help my friend, and I have not been wanting to believe that *I* have anything or that it is even real.

But he said "I've been to conferences" He thinks it's a SIDE EFFECT OF LYME, which is why we are "co-infected" he did a ton of other tests and I am waiting for results.

I am on TONS of drugs too.

Amoxycillin 2 pills 3x a day,
probenecid to make the drugs stay in system longer (affects the kidneys, prevents you from peeing it out)
Doxycyline 2 pills 2x a day

than a lot of probiotics
and AlphaLipoic acid, he said that woudl elimiate the tingling in the hands and feet that I got before.

Last spring I had also been to two more dermatologists. Of course, a joke. "take this creme, blah blah"

So I am totally exhausted. I am getting little breakouts of red spots. Just a few here and there.
But I got someon my wrist in a perfect triangle and i rubbed my finger nail over them and black specks jumped off. They sort of scabbed up and fell off, now there is another cluster in the same spot.

Maybe these are from the drugs workign, I don't know, but I sure feel knocked on my butt by all of this.
I can't believe it, and I need your support.

Seasprite.... well done on perservering and finally finding a doctor who understands and is prepared to treat you... that's great.... I think the problems you are having now are due to a herheimer reaction I've pasted below a description of what that means just in case you've not heard of it.

The Herxheimer Reaction is a short-term (from days to a few weeks) detoxification reaction in the body. As the body detoxifies, it is not uncommon to experience flu-like symptoms including headache, joint and muscle pain, body aches, sore throat, general malaise, sweating, chills, nausea or other symptoms.

This is a normal — and even healthy — reaction that indicates that parasites, fungus, viruses, bacteria or other pathogens are being effectively killed off. The biggest problem with the Herxheimer reaction is that people stop taking the supplement or medication that is causing the reaction, and thus discontinue the very treatment that is helping to make them better. Although the experience may not make you feel particularly good, the Herxheimer Reaction is actually a sign that healing is taking place.

The spots on the wrist are the tops of the blood feed lines coming into the lesion, for some reason the feed lines all have the spots. There are other lines taking blood out but they never show. These lines feed a living lesion, the drugs made my lesions come to the surface. Antibiotics and steroids work for awhile to suppress.

The tingling in the fingers is nerve involvement. The nerve passes thru a narrow opening, when the never becomes afflicted at this point it swells. GET SOME MSM it may help you to suppress the nerve involvment. Many of us get fibramialga, it is a more sever form of carple tunnel. MSM is championed for relief of fibramialga so try it quickly before the nerve swells to large to help you. I will tell you this, it has been my observation that doctors drugs so far have only furthered my involvment in this malady. I call it the BLOOM, after steroids and antibiotics you will find more problems.

I know there are people here taking LOTS of doctors drugs. I had stopped going to doctors and taking their drugs. I have HAD to finally give up and take high blood pressure meds. When my hyperbaric chamber was working I did not need the drug, the window on the chamber failed.

The black specks are just bits of dried blood and yellow goo. If you dig just a tiny bit the thing will start bleeding an immence amount of blood for such a TINY spot. Its like you have a deep flesh wound and not a tiny pin head spot. The red matter under the skin is being fed blood, the dots are directly over the feed lines going into the lesion. It is a good thing to know what it is you are dealing with.

I am not so sure doctoring is a good route to go. I did that for five years, the doctor made me worse. I have found better things natural and online to address this issue. Grapefruite seed extract, MSM and other types of things for certain issues of this problem. GSE on the top of the lesion and also taken inside the body, hopefully the doctors drugs and the natural stuff can work together to maybe rid you of this. Alone the antibiotics just piss this monster off. If you can find one person here that if started on doctors drugs, they need to take them forever with the list getting longer all the time, if they stop taking them it is bloom time.

Maybe if you intigrate natural with doctor drugs you may get better results If you take suggestions from people ask them what their condition was and now what it is, some will claim immaculate conseption, but no results do they have. If they are on MANY things you have to ask them what does what, if they can not answer questions, like how long does it take, then it may be a snake oil with absolutly no results. I try not to run alot of new things all at once as how can I tell what does what. My feelings on GSE and what it does, it makes it hard for the lesion to live, starts IMMUNE responce from your body. If you cover the ears with it everyday a brown skin will come off, then the skin will crack open behind the ears and ooz yellow goo which turns to crystals, you may have a lesion open up, you will most likely have an immune responce in the way of a ear ache.

The ear ache is not fun and may come several times. The result, no lesions in the outter ear, skin that is pink and nice, it will NOT react to the GSE anymore. I do not want these lesions on my head there has been alot of incidence of brain tumor in people. I have used this inside the ear canal, and that is when the ear ache will come on. This is not fun but it works well. It is but one thing in one area that rousts the vermin, forever, maybe, but I doubt it. Maintainance is a good idea an also better done with naturals that doctor drugs.

Make it a habit of getting a copy of every lab you ever have done (I would let your previous doctors know of your diagnosis - the bastards).
How wonderful that you have a doctor who believes M is real! There are few who really know how to help us, but BELIEVING is a HUGE step in the right direction.
The MRF believes that the black specks are a key to what is going on with Morgellons and had dna analysis done about a year ago, but they never published the results. I have heard that Dr. Staninger says that they are the "starters" that "grow" all the other crap.
I have seen them "melt" right into my skin and disappear, and a tiny raised red bump appears shortly after. Whatever they are, they are a very big KEY to this.
I have a very hard time getting onto this site, as have others, but can't seem to find out why.

You are lucky yes to find a doctor that is not a flake. I have seen this triangle of black dots many times before and found it to be not the black specks I have heard people speak of, BUT the marks of lesion veins come to surface, if there are pinkish spots under the little black scabs they are what I say, if they are what I say sooner or latter they will bleed. I hope doctors will find a system to follow that works well to destroy the underskin lesion/tumor.

I am just saying I have not heard of that happing yet and the drugs they hand out ALL have results some of them are VERY disturbing to say the least. Long term antibiotic use, abuse can lead to liver and kidney problems. BE aware, the human body needs to save itself and not have an artificial immune system.

There is a price to pay for this kind of thinking and it is devistating. One thing to follow for sure while doing antibiotics is probiotics for the colon it is a must, look for yogurt that says alive and active, same on the pills alive and active, a good sign on the probiotic pills is refrigerated. There is a time table to follow when taking the good bacteria to repopulate the colon.

I am taking a lot of probiotics 20 billion before bed and 4 billion size pills at the times I take the antibiotics, I am not sure what the right protocol should be, anyone have experience? thanks, sprite

From reading that it looks like I need to space the probiotics out and not take them at the same times as the antibiotics. That means I must take pills every two hours all day long, this is tough. I have a hard enough time organzing my thoughts! Peace, s
