Pat the wine makes sense. It smells fruity and rotten fruit ferments some so ideal bait. Then the little buggers get stuck and drunk then drown and die. Awesome!

I keep finding them in my coffee cup - so gross when I go to take a sip. I guess if I had to take my life, drowning in a cup of Starbucks would be the way to go.

Beer will do the same thing or vinegar. Pour some in a glass put plastic wrap over the top and a take a pencil and poke a small hole making a funnel They can get in but not out. you could also do the same with an old seasoning container. I think I would rather not attract them into the house in the first place though. We re-screened our screens with no-see-um size grid. This made the most difference. I don't like to leave fruit out at all although I think my husband thinks I'm nuts Also clean garbage disposer, drains, overflow drains and under the rim of toilet often. phorid flies love those areas.

hi freebird,
I have found numerous black wiry ones that i removed from my skin and scalp.is your hair dark? i believe they encass our scalp and use our hair to anchor themselves.just my theory.but i have cleared my face completely of the deep lines and my hair is finally filling in it was so thin.also all of the black spots on my chest that the dr told me were sunspots(not) are gone.but it does seem like some of the black ones are alive.

Hi Robin,
What sort of things did you do to rid yourself of the deep lines on your face? I too think there is some kind of fly component to this. My God, the sheer thought of it. Different things that I've seen and had happen to me have made me think this. I don't want to believe it. Moles that have been on my body since a child (upper body) have slowly gone away after rubbing down with alcohol wipes. Strange. Lately I've had things flying around me too. I feel the doctors know what this is, don't know how to cure it (at least I hope thats the case and not because insur. won't pay) and feel it would be crule to tell us. I feel we are being judged some how, like with the AIDS thing. At first they said let them die because it was thought of as only a Gay disease. I've never been a drinker a drugie or a slut. How did I get this. Thats the million dollar guestion, and you know what if I had been , I still deserve help. Its all GOD,GOD,GOD these days, but do they listen to what is preached! C

I've noticed the small, black fruit flies around me and my environment since I've had obvious symptoms - it was commented that we didn't have any fruit in the house, also, upon seeing quite a few of them this summer. I saw them in the late spring and still seeing them in the fall now. I'm pretty sure there is some correlation.

There's a fellow neighbor nearby me that has Morgellons real bad, he's a Desert Storm veteran - and the VA is saying that he is 'delusional', what a shame! - I've heard that he says that his is so bad on and in his hands that he's actually seen 'flies or bugs' come out of his hands. ?? I haven't talked to him in person because he has chosen to be a 'hermit type', but, I wouldn't be surprised if he says that he's 'hatching' a small fruit fly like 'bug'.

Hi Robin - yes, I'm interested, where did you post it? TY for offering to help others, that is a wonderful thing for you to 'give'. My face is ruined right now.

Or re-post it?
