I write the following as a plea for help and information regarding treatment/diagnosis of human parasitic infestation. Prior to the onset of my plight a little over two months ago, I had never heard of the possibility of parasitic infestations and the devastation it can cause. I reside in Austin, Texas - am in my thirties, have a history of endometriosis, intersticial cystitis, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, the list goes on. I do firmly believe that my conditions are attributed to a compromised immune system. But, this is not the reason for my plea. A little over three months ago, I was exposed to a friend who had been suffering with various skin-related symptoms ie: itching, rashes, biting, sensations of movement on or under her skin, bites, etc. At the time, I sympathized with her suffering, tried to support her, and spent time in her environment never thinking that I might be at risk of infection and not understanding that this was very serious. One month later, I began to experience similar symptoms, and my nightmare began. Since mid August of this year, I have endured numerous doctors, lab tests, procedures - was diagnosed and treated for scabies to no avail - all the while continuing to struggle with the biting, itching, movement sensation, chronic fatigue, tiny red bites, brain fog, and now joint and muscle pain. I am afraid, so very weary, exhausted, and feel dismissed by the medical community with the fear that no one will be able to help me or worse yet - label me with delusional parasitosis. I know in my core being that what my friend and I are suffering from is not delusional - and everything we have attempted to do in order to eradicate this infection has thus far been ineffective. This has included thorough and daily cleaning of every little thing in and around my environment, baths with enzyme solution, herb remedies, and vitamin supplements. I also have two cats and am uncertain if they are at risk or can reinfect me in the future. If this indeed an infectious disease, and it appears to be so, how many more lives will have to suffer as a result? I have a five-year-old nephew I pray to hold and play with again... My general practioner is the only doctor who thus far has been open and supportive to run tests in order to rule out other possibilities. I am currently waiting for blood work results to rule out Lyme Disease, auto-immune disease (Lupus), and anti-inflammatory disease. It is a daily effort to remain hopeful, positive, and to have faith that I will find answers which will lead to recovery...to get my life back. I humbly ask that you please send any information on doctors in Texas who are willing and/or any information on treatment of parasites/bacteria/fungus or who are willing to consider possible Morgellons diagnosis.

My heart goes out to you and your friend.
I'm about a year ahead of you, and didn't have a "diagnosis" for about two months (thought I had bird mites). In those early days I was astounded that this wasn't on the front page of every paper in the world...and daily I was looking for the big break in the news. I just couldn't believe that something like this could be happening without it being center stage in the media!
Some progress has happened this past year in terms of visibility, but almost always with that hint of "these people must be nuts". Slow by slow we'll get there - even if it takes an explosion of cases. I hate to think it'll have to come to that before a SERIOUS investigation takes place, but that can't be helped.
I suggest you go to Morgellons.org and click the "advocacy" link and ask your question. They maintain a pretty good list of "Morgellons-friendly" doctors in various areas.
I would also recommend Dr. Hildegarde Staninger (staningerreport.com). She is in LA but does not have to see you in person. She wants you to have a local doctor that she can work with. She will order a slew of bloodwork & urinalyses through the doctor, have you fill out a lot of paperwork (symptoms, history, etc), and then do a one hour phone consultation with her. Her rates are VERY reasonable, she is wonderfully supportive and brilliant. Her approach is to get you as healthy as possible and break down all the toxic crap in the body, then detoxify you - all through non-chemical means.
She is controversial because people just can't believe that what she is saying that causes this stuff could be true. Doesn't matter - you don't have to buy into her theories to follow her protocol and get MUCH better. Many of her patients achieve 100% symtom relief.

Thank you so much for your information. I would love to stay in contact with you and others as I learn more about this. It took time for me to reach out in this way to a website of people I don't know. But, I am already receiving incredible support, compassion, and understanding. Most importantly, I am realizing that I am not alone and that knowledge is power. The human heart and spirit is resilient. Reaching out to help one another is part of that journey.

I just wonder why you didn't come forward before...I was so desperate I joined this group I think a week after I found out what I had. I was so terrified! Of course, I was alone, no family or anything near me, and I would have gone insane without some support.

Can't say the same about Pallone. I can see right through him and he is a complete sleazebag.

It makes you realise what we are up against though .
The ones who have the final say are all evil criminals who will stay in power no matter which puppet get elected.
We should applaud the decent ones though .
The job is made almost impossible by the Lies and corruption going on.
