Default Anyone Else Hate Making Phone Calls?

I was chatting to tcmgpt13 and mentioned to her that I hated making offical phone calls now.
I'm ok talking to my friends and relatives but when it comes to paying bills or anything official I make any excuse to myself so I can avoid it.
Tcmgpt said shes exactly the same since her illness started so we wondered if this was a symptom of Morgellons.
Does anyone else feel the same?

Yes, that's what I have been noticing too Carla as you say, and it even extends to not wanting to organize any of my papers. I have things strewn all over a table I no longer use, instead of filing them away. A change in behavior for sure, for although I do make attempts to file some papers occasionally it is not enough to put much of a dent in the stack. It is if I cannot focus long enough to do it.

Thats another habit I've developed TCM.I could misplace paperwork for England.
I spend ages looking for a certain document and then see it somewhere right in front of my nose when I no longer need it.
I used to be well organised but everythings all over the place now.

Carla & tcm,

Me too! Just the thought of trying to get organized freezes me up.

This has affected my filing taxes, missing parties and events because I couldn't get my butt in gear, even calling my grandmother to thank her for kefir and old fiesta ware dishes she gives me.

Right now I am on the computer instead of showering and getting ready to go to a Summer Solstice celebration in the mountains. My daughter is going to music camp tomorrow for a week and do I have her stuff packed up & ready to go? Nope!

I am getting better about getting out and doing things again but I am almost never on time. (on "time", what's that? )

Guess I had better sign off now! This is a good thread Carla. Thank you!

In the white light,
~jonsi

Let's just say my credit score is shot to hell.

I've been like that for two years, Carls. Total lack of concern for organization. You know, that is the modus operandi for some parasites when they are attempting to take over their hosts. Why would ours be any different? They want us to be zombies so they can live off us. Nice.

Here's a 'funny' anecdote: I was at my son's and cleaned the kitchen floor (tile) and left the sink water running (with plug... to clean it with clorox) and by the time I happened to turn around and look at the floor, I wondered why it wasn't yet dry....;-).....totally flooded the kitchen. So obviously I had to mop it all up and what a waste of time, huh? twice I cleaned the floor!

What I hate now also is my anxiety...moroseness...thoughts of doom and gloom. Really tough to get around them.

Ain't this just the bestest fun EVER?

xoxo

Every month without fail I pay a £10 penalty for not paying my previous cable bill on time.
It's only a quick call and reading a few numbers to a someone but I wait till they limit my services before I get around to it .
Kritts your right its the parasites controlling me.I'm like that ant who sleeps at the top of a blade of grass instead of underground.
And I always leave the bath running and forget about it .
I am late for everthing too Jonsi. No one gives me a time anymore. They just say see you when you can get here.

Good thread Carls.

Procrastination is my middle name right now.

I found this on Rense from Cliff M. I've copied it so people can read it without having to see the disturbing art included on his page!!

Morgellons Destroys Relationships, Families & Happiness
By Cliff Mickelson
5-19-8

It has long been common knowledge among Morgellons researchers that the effects of this emerging plague are not limited to simple physical manifestations. As do many other new and emerging diseases, Morgellons attacks the mind of all victims as well as their body. In so doing, it is at once both obvious and subtle in it's symptomology.

Perhaps the most pervasive and common baseline defining this duel attack is a form of Depression that often makes its appearance during the early onset of the condition. Depression is an insidious condition that debilitates a victim while often leaving them completely clueless as to the process that is affecting them. Of course, as we know, Depression is not the sole domain of Morgellons victims. It is an "umbrella" condition and finds fertile ground in many traumatic life-events as well as pathologies.

It is important at this juncture to emphasize that the demonstrative behavioral effects upon the personality of a subject afflicted with Morgellons, (and to some extent, Lyme) generally go beyond the normal behavioral parameters that define classical Depression.

We can call it Depression with a "twist".... It is a curious phenomena and one that is still poorly recognized and/or understood. For lack of more concise terminology, the "twist" can be roughly described as "selective negative personality trait enhancement." It is an extremely novel and subtle effect but one that is part and parcel of the Morgellons personality profile.

The denial that accompanies this behavioral modification is commensurate with that of Depression. The victim rarely notices their own negative enhancements. However, such changes do not often escape the notice of those closest to the victim. They in turn, often find themselves increasingly powerless to negotiate a relationship where the rules they formerly co-existed by no longer apply or are being arbitrarily changed.

As a result, many Morgellons victims unwittingly engage in a form of relationship 'suicide' where relationships are almost invariably destroyed by stealth personality traits that target the very people closest to them and who form their primary support system.

Behavioral modification in a Morgellons victim generally occurs in the initial stages of the disease. These appear to be changes that are always rooted in the natural proclivities that existed in the makeup of the personality prior to affliction. However, prior to Morgellons onset these personal and socially counterproductive personality traits are ones that were usually partially or completely controlled, regulated or suppressed.

Morgellons appears to create in its victims a condition which allows a certain number of these formerly sub-dominant behaviors to become "enhanced" to varying degrees. During the high season of initial onset, a victim, (Even if he or she is made aware of the issue) will be unlikely to be able to exert effective self-control or to take personal responsibility for modified behaviors in question.

The forms and types of negative behavioral examples available for impartial examination are legion. Judgmental excesses as well as compulsive completion and procrastination issues are usually but not always the locus of these matters. Fault projection in a relationship, (especially if the tendency was pre-existing) is also quite common.

This particular enhancement is usually directed at a spouse or significant other. It is one of the more personally destructive effects of Morgellons and has been the ruination of many formerly healthy and rewarding relationships. It is worth noting that most Morgellons victims who have weathered the first few years of affliction have slowly come to an awareness of this phenomenon and it's effect upon their lives and the lives of those around them.

With the dawning of this awareness comes a belated self-understanding and the beginning of the painful journey toward a compromise/solution that enables the Morgellons patient to engage in a functional or semi-functional life once again.

It is long and difficult struggle but one that is its own reward in the end.

Regards, -Cliff Mickelson Morgellons Destroys Relationships, Families & Happiness

here ya go.... I want the pretty orange fungus growing from me instead of the white and black faux hair ;-)

Brainwashed by a parasite « Neurophilosophy

Entomopathogenic fungi are not the only parasites that can modify the behaviour of their hosts. Equally remarkable is the nematomorph hairworm Spinochordodes tellinii, which is also known as the horsehair worm or the gordian worm, because of its resemblance to the knot created by the Phrygian king Gorius. (According to myth, Gordius used his knot to tie a chariot to a pole, and declared that whoever could untie it would rule all of Asia.)

OMG....check out the video starting with the pool to see some really unnerving action.
