Has anyone else had the experience of having this condition display a distinct reaction to either a food, spice, vitamin, or medicine? I have clearly had extra heavy pinching and itching after eating spicy food, and after certain vitamins. It almost seemed the disease was expressing displeasure! Any takers?

Hi Marizara, Since I'm obviously the first to read your post, I just want to welcome you (you're new?) and give a quick comment. General consensus is that may in fact be the critters exhibing displeasure. How, spicy foods are anti-parasitic. It's called 'herxing'. I'll let one of our Morg members get into it in more detail as I'm off to see the wizard. Have a great day! Kritters

Welcome Marizara and I know there have been quite of few people who have limited there sugar intake and gotten some relief as well. My friend who has morgellons cut his sugar, simple carbs and excess caffeine and got some relief.

I got an outbreak last night and it got worse tonight. I thought it was a food reaction but I couldnt figure out what I ate. It wasn't what I ate... Spicy V8 juice was the common thing both days, and I hadnt had any in AGES. I felt my scalp was almost totally healed then, whamo! I'd have to try it again to see if that is really the cuase..

| How'd I miss this one? Too funny Carla (Franky, are you going to take what she said about you??? ) Kritters, did you meet Dorothy? I try to stay away from any fast food chains, stick to organic foods as much as possible, and eat chile every day (green or red). Coffee may be a factor, but I think it is in the coffee maker (molds in the appliance) and not the coffee itself. I love coffee, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.Welcome marizara! In the white light, ~jonsi

Jonsi, You mean Toto's Dorothy? ??? ![]() Marizara, I drink spicy v-8 all the time. In fact, I stir my otherwise gross probiotic powder into it and add lemon for a yummy treat. I get no reaction from it.Word has it most parasites, esp. candida thrive on carbs, so cut out anything with sugar. Sugar keeps them happy and quiet, I'm guessing, much like a pig in a slop-filled pen. It's when you add the spicy hot stuff like jalapeno peppers they get pissed because it creates an unwelcome environment for them. ![]() This is ONLY my opinion........ ![]() Kritters
