Hi Scousecat, I have no idea from the perspective of your baby someone in this forum may be able to answer your query but as far as i aware with this disease no one really knows how it transmits yet. But do you mind me asking i had heard in the past that a few pregnant women who experience the Morgellons symptoms went into 100% remission whilst they were pregnant. And it has been argued that it may have been due to an increase in hormones which has resulted in an increased immune system functioning keeping this pathogen at bay. Has this happened in your case? I am guessing not but would be interested in what you have to say. Sorry i haven't been too much help on your first query. Jason

Hi Cat, GoodLuck for the 27th.I think you should just make sure you keep up with the treatment steps.Johnstones baby shampoo seems get them from eyelashes well so a tiny drop in his baths might help. The other members may have a few better ideas. Hows your mum?l hope she s ok. See you soon. Carla xxx

Wow, Congratulations! My daughter was born on Dec. 21st and she gives me the evil eye all the time (she's going to be 36). I used to let her open the presents and then again on Christmas. NO I DID NOT!!!! ONLY KIDDING. but she swears she got a raw deal being born that close to Christmas, so you have your work cut out for you. It's the colostrum in the breast milk the first few days of nursing that supposedly gives the immune benefits. Who knows if these bastards have transcended that, but I have the sneaky feeling mother nature is pretty *****y about that. Wish I knew to say. My thoughts are that if you transfer anything it will be through the dna or blood rather than the colostrum, but again, I don't know. From what I've read, the colostrum and breast feeding gives the baby a chance at autoimmunity it normally would not have had. But I also have read that our immune system could be our main problem when it comes to pathogens. I'd be taking pro-biotics if it were me, but again what the heck do I know or anyone for that manner. It's Christmastime. Try to have faith no matter what and I will be sending positive thoughts to the universe on your baby's behalf. and yours. Best, Kritts

| Congratulations. I will keep you and your new baby in prayer. As far as feeding is concerned, I would follow your maternal instinct. For me, breast feeding we awkward and uncomfortable and I was always self conscious, but I fed them both for 6 months and then went to the bottle. Jared was born at 32 weeks and he was 5 lbs. He is thriving and so is Noah, my 5 y/o. I am praying that they received more than borrelia from me and the immune system was boosted by my breast milk. Outsiders would say I am crazy and both of them are fine, but the lab states that they have something going on, but honestly, overall, they are doing great. Bond with your baby and pray for guidance and protection and believe that God has big plans for you and the baby. Lots of love, Melissa PS - If you can, ask loved ones for carrot and beet juice. I drank lots of juices and I believe they benefitted greatly. My milk was pale orange some days!! The nurses told me it was beta carotene.

Melissa, Yep, it was beta carotene. and too much at that. I used to make my own baby food and too many carrots and my daughter began to turn orange. I wondered why she didn't turn green from the spinach. I agree that woman's/man's best friend at baby stage is breast milk. Kritters

Scousecat.... congratulations... your baby will be lovely I'm sure and so precious.. all the advise above seems so good. Just give lots of love, I'm sure the baby's immune system will protect him, and I hope the joy will help you to feel better all round. We're all here for you, so enjoy it as much as you can and have a wonderful Christmas. love, Milly x
