Default Please Help Us get Some Media Attention

Patrice and I have been trying to get the UK most popular newspaper to run a morgellons story. After phoning their newsdesk today we were each told they would get back to us. Both of us felt like they thought we'd just escaped from somewhere. It would really help us if as many of us as possible sent them a e-mail today .
We really need all you guys in the USA to e-mail them too. If you could mention the CDC investigation maybe it would help. We really need this paper to run a story as it will reach a lot more people than any other . We're hoping that a lot more people will come forward if they see the symtoms .
If all members could just send a quick e-mail we've alot more chance of getting taken seriously. And Pat and I would be eternally grateful. Heres the E-mail address . Please help us you wonderful people
love Carla xxxxxxxx & Pat too x

Carla,
Anything happening about this? I put some ideas up on another thread. I think it is a good time to get the ball rolling. Or at least start working towards it. Would it be possible to list all UK members who would be willing to participate. I am not in a position to go public and i expect many others would be in the same boat but the names were changed by David Elkan (I've checked that's his name okay) in the New Scientist article.

It might be better going for a more respected paper than The Sun. It probably reaches a huge audience but something like The Guardian would carry much more weight. I'll also have a think about journalists writing for Scottish newspapers.

Hi, Carla, Pat, Hannah and other Brits.. I've contacted the Sun, but agree with Hannah, the Guardian would be a very good bet. Would love to chat in the chat room, but am completely pooped much too early for you guys ;<( Will let you know when James LeFanu in The Telegraph has done his bit. He is a very respected sensible and down to earth doctor who writes regularly in the DT, and has told me that it will be soon.

Love, H x

Carla, Patrice, Hilly,
Today I contacted Sir Liam Donaldson, Chief Medical Officer at Whitehall responsible for the Strategy for Combating Infectious Diseases: 'Getting Ahead of the Curve'. I am suggesting to him that he needs to take a look at the CDC and what is now happening in the USA re: Morellons.
Carla, I will p.m. the letter to you. Might be an idea for other people to contact him also as he is responsible for England but not Scotland.

Love hannah

Well done Hannah.... what a sensible idea... would be very interested to hear what re-action you have from Sir Ian... as far as Dr. LeFanu goes... he writes a regular column in the DT.on medical isssues. .. always when I've seen it very common sense and open minded I wrote to him ages ago to ask if he had heard of morg and if he would possibly write something on it. He said he had'nt but asked me to send info which I did. I sent him a copy of the Mail article and said, what about you ? and got an e-mail back saying 'coming soon' That's all I know.. It won't be very long or comprehensive but just hope it's supportive when it comes. All the best, Hilly
