| So, So glad I found this site.My name is Pat am 55yrs old and live in Leeds UK.Mine is a bit of a confusing story and what a lousy year!Lost my cat suddenly with brain tumour(Rare) in January followed by the sudden death of my ex racehorse(devastating) followed by the death of favourite chick-one of 32.Well yes it got worse when I found myself playing a part in the sequel to Dreamcatcher. For the first time ever I discovered Red Mite or I THINK it was, in one of the chicks huts.Started spraying the hut with everything to get rid.Seemed to be getting on top of that when I discovered them in the house (as I thought)So I had my friendly rat man call in and spray the house and I started cleaning, mega cleaning.I found a 'nest of fibres' in a light fitting, mmm didn't know red mite did those. Then a black hair jumped into my hand. Then I discovered little grey grubs under my chair.Something laid eggs behind my ear, something else burrowed into my nether regions.OMG I must have scabies-off to doc with tunnels on my arms and 3 navy blue tunnel things on the other arm.Doc says she wasn't convinced it was scabies but use Derbac and that will sort whatever it is.No it didn't.Then horrors! My other half had his goolies bitten(much amusement among my friends)and I could not stop them bleeding-and lets face it you can't apply great pressure there So I dropped some lemon essential oil on and left him to get on with it.Then on Weds he went down with some sort of nasty bug and has never left the toilet and bed since.Am telling you this is dreamcatcher come to life.I'm here just getting bitten and these nasty little hairs jumping in my hands and making them very dry and painful. My pc has got them even the washer and breadmaker in fact they are everywhere. Nothing has killed them except an old tin of flyspray containing one of the organophosphates which have been banned here.Sadly i only had the one tin.Oh yes I have them in my hair as well.Don't know how I'm going to cope with this. The garden is full of em and the bed is full of little blue dots.I had a pest firm in and the guy has been in it 20yrs and said he's never seen anything like it.Where they have come from is a total mystery but I do hope they visit my grotty neighbour Miss Piggy ![]() I dread going back to the doc who will prob section me.They keep attacking my nose and I managed to catch a couple (ugh) before they got right in.When I feel a crawling on my face I wipe a cotton ball soaked in toner around my face and the tiny blue fibres can be seen.So thats my sad story-and with my luck I'll win the lottery this week now I'm too knackered to enjoy it ???

| Hi Pat, ![]() Wow! Whar a year you have had. so sorry to hear about the bugs everywhere. You have come to a place of help, hope and healing. There are many lovely, suffering people who can share some ideas, information, and help. My first suggestion is that you visit Morgellonstreatmentsteps.com Here you will find our "Bubba" and she would love to help you. Her steps are organized and outlined, easy to follow and a BIG help. I too, have something in my house that bites my feet and legs and gets in all my books and papers. Not yet found what they are or how to get rid of them. Maybe you will find something that helps and share. Welcome aboard, gator ![]() "A kind deed is a forever treasure in the heart of the receiver" |

| Ok am still here didn't win the lottery and i was sooo looking forward to buying an electric buggy in preference to my old merc so i could run everyone down on the pavement like the hoodies do ![]() Anyway am glad you got a laugh out of my tale Carla- don't worry Leeds is still laughing.and thank you all for the help and good wishes you have sent. The dreamcatcher came to me 1 night in bed last week when I looked at my bedside table which I had covered in Permethrin (as you do) and noticed right before my eyes small eggs appearing, but could'nt see what was laying them. And I hadn't touched a drop of alcohol.I gathered em up and put them on a mirror with a cover on them(takes me back to biology experiments at school)and they started to emerge as those little grubs.Chap from pest control took em and I haven't heard from him since so maybe they got him. An interesting thing I found is that the black dot things hide at the back of the rubber seal on the double glazing.I flushed thousands out with Poultry Shield which is ammonia based and which I got for the hen hut in the fight with red mite but have ended up cleaning the house with it.In a couple of days I'll be clucking........ I have a query which maybe Carla can answer -the borox thing is that the same as washing soda crystals that we have in uk?Also the baking soda is that our baking powder or bicarb? Gator if I find what kills these things I will willingly share it with you but as I said to my friend if there was a nuclear explosion these B******* would walk out whole. To end on a light note and apologies to anyone if you are Mormon or jehovahs its not personal but a group of them called here 2 days ago as i was rushing into the car stressed as usual and trying to outrun the black dots for the drivers seat. The chap said 'we are here to tell you that the world is ending' he didnt get any further I shouted 'you're too late it started here in January and it seems to be reaching the climax watch out for the black hairs' and shot off in the car leaving him somewhat bemused!Goodnight and thanks folks.

| Hi Pat , Thats one way of getting rid of them anyway .The mormons not morgs . Borax is not washing soda or bi carb.Yes our BI carb is washing soda.It is good for cleaning but Borax beats them hands down. I got mine from e-bay after wasting hours phoning every chemist in liverpool. There is a good UK site that does it cheaply .They also sell 35% Hydro peroxide . I have not got the link now but its called Health leads UK.com They deliver quickly too. One thing Pat. Are you near the leeds to liverpool canal .I live right on the edge and another person with morgs lives close to it .I presume it goes to Leeds ![]() Good luck pat Keep us updated how you get on. carla xx |

| Hi Carla, you wouldn't be suggesting that someone sent these things down the canal to Leeds I mean I know theres bad feeling between the soccer teams but that would be going a bit far even for the scousers ![]() No am not near the canal thank goodness, but it may have got to you from our sewage works which is on the canal and has been somewhat pungent of late (prob due to my OH)who is still in love with the loo ![]() Thanks for the info I shall tootle onto ebay and track the borox-better be careful with my short term memory i could end up with botox!! BFN pat x

| Pat, You are too funny! I haven't half laughed like that in a long time. It was hilarious to read your end of the world of the world scenario. Laughed so hard I still have tears in my eyes. In fact both your posts were funny. I do hope you will find some relief by following the suggestions. BTW thanks for the education in some interesting British slang expressions. It was funny to read, but I know it was not funny to experience. So very sorry to hear about your losses, a beloved cat and a race horse and a chick. I can see it would be devastating. Anyway, I do welcome you to the forum. best, tcm

| Hi Pat, You are too funny. Haven't had a good belly laugh in a long time. Thanks for the treat of reading some British slang expressions. Sorry about your bug problem (mine ,too.) wonder what happened to the pest control man. I had two to come to my house and when I mentioned teeny, tiny, black dots, he mumbled something and ran out the door and never called or came back. The next one came, put down sticky pads, came back the next day, the pads were clean looking (he didn't have microscope) so I mentioned maybe mites we can't see and he said would check back and I never heard from him again either.Funny, how these people just disappear. ![]() Sure hope Carla is not sending you stuff via the canal. Maybe put up sign Caution Black Dots.LOL ![]() Again, welcome to our forum of hope, help, healing and love. ![]() Looking forward to hearing from you again. Sure hope YOU haven't began clucking. ![]() P.S. Now I am confused was it washing soda, baking soda, borax or ........? ![]() I am so sorry about your losses.I know going through all you have was and is not funny, but your description made a picture in mind's eye that was hysterically funny. Thanks for the laugh. gator Truly a year of ups and downs , a rollercoaster of sorts. |

| Pat, I'll pm you later when I've got some energy, but I'm in the UK very similar story with chickens with red mite and bird mite etc... poor you, it's a nightmare is'nt it ? Be back soon Hilly |

| Hi Pat, Thats is just typical.Any trouble all blame the scousers. I was suggesting that Leeds was sending them to us, maybe because your all jealous of our two fantastic successful football clubs(esp. Everton) ![]() I am only kidding .I love Leeds United really. carla X |
