Default Fruit-is any ok to eat?

Hi everyone- My question is what if any fruit can we eat? Considering they contain a form of sugar in them-but oranges etc. contain citric acid. What is safe to eat? So far I have only been using pure lemon juice etc. and sure do miss fruit.

Lizette, I think anything in the berry family is fine. Berries are lower in sugar/fructose. You could eat them with lemon squeezed on top. I make smoothies with lemon yogurt, strawberries, blueberries. Boy is that ever a refreshing drink.

I think Friski knows more about this since she is on a Candida diet.

The more fruit I eat the better I feel
It is the chocolate and the bread products (glutton) that bring on my symptoms!

I'm with you guys. I cannot recall which diet said to cut out fruit, but I could much easier cut out veggies! I LOVE fresh strawberries and fruits. I make the yogurt smoothies too and they are SOOOOO good that you feel like you are cheating when they are actually good for you.
Linda
PS If chocolate dipped strawberries were the only thing I could eat, i'd probably have it made!!!

Linnysue,
That looks like beer to me!
But, it's ok, no smoothie smiley!!! I LOVE those smoothies too and I make one that is just as powerpacked as that $5+ one at the mall. Makes me feel good knowing I get the $5 power punch every morning. Right now fresh strawberries are in season- oh yum! I found pineapple yogurt and have used pineapple in it for the enzymes- not to bad either. This one tastes really good if ya feel the need for coconut rum.(hey pineapple and coconut- both good for morgs??? I'm trying ).........not a regular thing for me, but there have been a few days..........especially a day like today- root canal and another new crown.... .
You guys that are not doing this gotta try it-smoothies.
Linda

Thanks everyone!
What a relief-I thought I was going to have to go to fruit rehab! I'd put a smiley with the big teeth, but my computer won't let me.

I've been very careful, but I've not had any problem with a little papaya. It has, in various forms and uses, some natural healing properties.

I also have to be careful with fruit due to the sugar content. Linnysue, I like your comment on berries, I think I'm going to allow myself some fresh ones this summer. I have been eating lyci berries and bilberries, due to their good medicine, on toast with almond butter. Yum! :P

Most anticandida diets dont allow fruit until after a few months then you can introduce some, i have a small handful of rasberrys a day and seem to do ok with that or sometimes i will buy the grannysmith green apples, they are low sugar. Probably is best to go easy on the fruit, and forget fruitjuice altogether unless you water it down alot. I think lemon is fine though and really good for herxing and alkalizing.
