Default New Person on Board

Hi, all of you - - -
I am finding it really hard to navigate this site. Confusing. Not clear. So glad also that a new web-hosting situation is soon to happen. (It takes like 5 minutes just to go backward or forward). I got a letter from the sponsors saying "try the introduction forum" and yet, I cannot find where this supposed "introduction forum" is! But I am here, anyway, to support you all and myself, too, maybe...
I do not even know if I have Morgellans. But have been through hell, like you all. My father, a retired physician, is mainstream and old school and last year, accused me of having "imaginary bugs". My mother, a former nurse, also tends to side with him, saying "ha, ha ha!"
I started out thinking I had gnats (biting sand flies). This was something I lived with for seven years in NJ near the beach. Every Fall, it would go away. Relief!!! for the winter months. Then, again it started with spring in April. Horrible, horrible, horrible! It started with intense itching in my scalp. I had bite marks all over my head and back. I thought the residents of NJ were CRAZY to want to live there... Finally, I scraped up the little money I had and MOVED back to Florida and my hometown, Tampa. I was blissfully FREE of bug bites for about four years, until last April. Suddenly it returned. I was horrified, thinking I had taken the eggs or bugs or SOMETHING with me in fabric or clothes or something...
I did the Bug Bomb thing (toxic spray all over everything in my condo!) more than 5 times. I called in a pest control expert to evaluate the situation (he said there was nothing). I went to a Dermatologist to see if I had scabies (a surgically removed scraping DID NOT reveal such) and complained to numerous doctors and friends that I must have LICE!!! Nobody wanted to be around me. Everybody thought I was crazy.
BRAIN FOG???!!! Duh. That happens when you are deprived of sleep, because you are itching and itching and itching these things! All night. And then, you resort to addictive behaviors... Drink a truckload of red wine, so you might sleep...
Well, folks, I got off the red wine. Realized that sugars of any sort were destroying my health. I am still battling this, but seek to learn more. HERE.

I should have mentioned that I went into "remission" (I guess) about a year ago.

This was only due to a fluke, I guess you would say. I did some serious praying and tithing (am Christian). The result?

The result is that I am symptom free for about a year, except for a continuing outbreak on my upper right arm. (These things do not heal! And if anyone thinks it is weird to pick at scabs, let me tell you that it is reasonable to expect a scab to heal within a day or two... and thus...if one picks at a two month old scab, well, what the heck?)

The "miraculous" remedy occurred when I encountered a store clerk one day who told me to check out TEA TREE OIL. Yes, in a health food store... You buy it by the bottle. Body wash, which can be used as shampoo, also.

Simultaneously, I began washing all bedclothes daily. That goes for clothes too. I bought a plastic bed-liner thingy at Target as well.

Default Lov'in Tea Tree

Myrrh:
I love putting tea tree with head and shoulders and wash all over. Tea tree mixed with eucalyptus is also nice to make into a spray into living spaces. A dab on hair before sleep helps me too. Just love the stuff.

Tea Tree oil is awesome. I tried putting tea tree oil in olive oil and even mixing a little DE in it and rubbed it all over. I slept like that and got a great purge for two days afterwards. It works great!
