Default Blood Type

I don't know if anyone has started a thread or has posted regarding blood types, and I don't feel like taking the time to research....

I'm just curious what different blood types we have here in the Morgellons community.

I find it to be a fascinating subject in any case and could have more far-reaching ramifications than I have read so far in research. I have A+ but that is because I was a blue baby and had a transfusion.

http://www.ask.com/bar?q=why+do+peop...Fpassage40.htm

Interesting how this author dismisses certain things as lacking scientific basis and evolutionary significance, yet states,
"We do not yet know the functions of...", " The reasons are unclear. ",
"...may account for...."

Fortunately, there seems to be a lot of information I intend to peruse.

I welcome any links to posts regarding this, if anyone has them.

I started a poll but, it will probably get lost in all other archived threads. I only used some basic blood types because there are 23 and we can only enter up to 10 choices. If you're 'other' please post what you are.

I'm going to bring this poll up every time I log in to see what results come up and keep it from getting lost. I think I'll do that for my other polls as well. a lot of work for me, but no alternative at present.

I think Mark Neumann mentioned that blood type did not seem to have any influence on the incidence of Morgellons. He did have a discussion of this on his site at one time, so perhaps you can look there to see what he says about this subject.

thanks TC..I'll check it out...

Still, we don't know what it is, so with due respect to Marc...therefore we don't know whether or not blood type has influence.

I think he was doing some sort of survey of people who ordered from him to determine what he said. Not saying he is right though. Still the poll was probably about the same and in no way would hold up as scientific evidence any more than this one would.

Hi,
I agree with Krits. Its worth looking into to see if any certain blood type on this site is prone to this disease. I've wondered about it before. Main blood groups O+, O-, A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB-.

TC...I'm not looking to shock the world with a scientific report.

Just curious. It certainly doesn't hurt to turn over any stone (or platelet ;-) we can think of, wouldn't you agree?

Wherdigo, thanks...you never know....

p.s. Claudia.... I didn't realize that was just your initial at the bottom of the blood types...I was wondering about blood type 'C' LOLOL

Default type A

If you have type A, stay away from cayenne pepper in cleansing recipes. It will make you sick to your stomach!

now she tells me! LOL

I want to see how this goes for a bit. Since we have no way of telling who is actually casting on this poll, and not that I don't trust all the people who may have signed up as members (but I don't) I might take the to a post like Kammy started where you fill it in and I'll record it. we'll see.

The thing about blood types is that, (very minimal reading so far) what distinguishes one type from another is antigens and such which are most likely inherited from way back. I think something like this could certainly predispose one person over another to actually allowing or disallowing certain pathogens from taking hold in the body depending on the antigens one has.

Wouldn't hurt to learn something anyway.

p.s. Jonsi...I have been taking cayenne for some time now and it doesn't seem to bother me. I'm A+ Maybe because I just put it in my tea and other food?

Many people do not display the alleged symptoms for different blood types which are detailed in D'adamo's Eat Right for Your Blood Type book. I got this information from a Western herbalist who had treated many patients. She said that some patients did well on the diet while others did not notice any difference by following it even though they were the same blood type. I suspect that it is hard to determine diet in some respects as blood types can even vary with in the same family--such as one parent might be 0/0 (from each of his parents) and the other may be A/O which came from each of her parents. This set of parents might have an O/O child or an A/O child (though that child would be type A). I expect that could change a lot of reactions which are expected from a person who inherited an A from one parent and an A from the other. Then there is also the Rh factor and probably a lot more which is unknown about the blood.
