Nope, not even close. Diabetes has never run in my family.

Cancer and heart disease, yes. But longevity runs in my family, my grandma & her two little sisters are 96, 94 & 92. The only medications they take are an occasional aspirin for a head-ache. Other side of the family...grandpa died at the age of 94 and his mother at 96. Again, no prescription meds taken. Both of my parent are 70 and healthy, although i do see the Morgellon "markers" on both of them.

Diabetic? Yep ! I am .... well kinda..

I was diagnosed 'diabetic' in late 2004 - more or less 'overnight' with a blood glucose level of 30mmol/ltr.

I was rushed to A&E to have the sugar 'flushed out' of me before being sorted out for all kinds of other medications for a 'screwed up' Liver, Endocrine & Blood Chemistry systems.

Given,

Gliclazide and Metformin - for the 'Diabetes'
Fenofibrate - for High Tryglycerides
Simvastatin - for High Cholesterol
Candestarten - for High Blood Pressure

Not bad seeing as how only 01 year earlier I was running around in a War Zone as fit as a butchers dog !

The reason for all the 'inverted commas' is because my 'diabetes' is now seemingly well under control as are most of the other symptoms above - and I do mean well under control, to the point where fortunately, I have now been able to throttle right back on the meds.

The most remarkable thing throughout this whole process was what happened to both my Liver and me.

We swelled ! dramatically ... I'm talking 6 stone in 06 months !!

When I finally reached 22 stone I think thats when the 'diabetes' chipped in.

That then 'ate' my body back down to 16 stone over the next year before eventual diagnoses

04 years down the line and things have stabilised in the general blood chemistry dept - but still have Liver 'issues' that have now moved on to cyclical events not dissimilar to to that of malaria.

Even more disturbing, I've a a swelling in the groin - as in 'plague style' - on 02 separate occasions now !!

I seem to get a run up to an 'event' with Sweating, Liver pains and Tachycardia.... Then 'bang' 01 or both inner ears become affected with an 'infection' - seems like their is a rupture and mixing of the inner ear fluids - this lasts from between 2-9 weeks before Ok again.

I've still got a swollen fatty liver but I'm down to only one skin lesion now.

I've had this 01 lesion for over a year now, it started life with a dozen of its 'cousins' as a wet and weeping sore putting out coloured fibres.

Now, its 'cousins' have dried up and healed at long last and this last one remains. It scabs over with a deep hard 'plastic' scab that sloughs off for the process which then starts all over again.

The doc has no idea whats happening and truth be told, isn't really interested - "Leave it alone and it will go away" - well a years enough I reckon, so a self administered wart freezing application is up soon

Oh ..and in the meantime - I'm still recovering the coloured fibres from both ears & my sputum !

All for now
