-Yes, but not within the last year.

-I run outdoors frequently.

-Yes, but not recently.

-Nothing major. I just got a stool test come back positive for Entamoeba Hisolytica.

-No

17. Any medications you have taken or are taking?
-I am on Flagyl for 10 days at the moment. I have taken Advair and albuterol in the past for allergies/Asthma. I have also taken Ferrous Gluconate (Iron) supplements because of low iron in the past. I took permethrin 5% for "scabies" about a month ago.

18. Do you drink more than 8 cups of coffee a day?
-No

19. As far as lesions, have you had more than 10 at a given time?
-No. I have had no lesions... yet. I have had thin pencil like cut marks and itching on both my hands very similar to scabies like symptoms.

20. What part of your body did the lesions start?
-The "scabies" symptoms started on my right hands, then left hands. My right armpit had itching for a few weeks before my hands.

21. Is there any area that they are most prevalent? If so, where?
-I am feeling pretty good right now, but I would say my hands. Mainly my right hand. My right armpit has been doing a lot better.

22. Is one side of your body/face more affected than the other (i.e.: left vs. right)?
-My right, but not by a large margin.

-Black specs, the lint. My symptoms have died down greatly at the moment I almost feel normal, but I have been on a strict Diet/pH balance/no processed food/ no sugar. I am also on Flagyl at the moment.

-Scabies and/or "I don't know what that is"

my guess is my whole life as i've had alopecia my whole life. ive become more readily aware of all of my symptoms and timeline in the past few months

sweden in 1994, mexico in 2000, florida in 87, cali countless times in the past decade. i've been to canada several times and all over the US, to probably 30 different states.

i'm outside as much as i can stand to be. the air here is horrible. i do like to camp and hike

alopecia, that's pretty much it. ive had several surgeries: menisectomy, appendectomy, widsom teeth extraction and ventral hernia repair

-No but i did for five years from 18-23

i have a mirena IUD currently. in the past various BCP, been on many different antibiotics throughout my life, i prefer to use as many homeopathic remedies as possible

-No

19. As far as lesions, have you had more than 10 at a given time?
-No. I have had no lesions... yet. i have a couple of paper cut looking things, but no goo or fibers coming out.

20. What part of your body did the lesions start?
the paper cuts were on my hands and fingers. i currently have a tiny circular scrape on my calf

21. Is there any area that they are most prevalent? If so, where?
not that i can tell.

i'd have to say things are even steven at the moment

red, blue, clear fibers. black specks. possible hexagon. brain fog. sometimes feels hazy over my eyes like a layer of slime. HEADACHES are bad. i haven't gone a day in months without one. throbbing and stabbing above and behind my left eye. itching/stinging sensations mostly in arms and back. twitching eyes. and now and then my lungs hurt like i smoke a pack in an hour.

Brain fog, vision problems, sinus and nasal congestion/always running, black darts that shoot around face, white and clear worms from nose and eyes, worming sensations around scalp ears and face, moving hair, hair loss, fibres from feet and under finger nails, open sores under fingernails, itching skin, fatigue, diahorreah daily, crystals coming from skin and around fingernails, dark areas in mouth, nose and eyes, cracked lips despite constant Vaseline, white hard eggs coming from nasal cavities, squeaking/popping sound around teeth and gums, hacking cough, excessive mucus from throat and chest, underwear being eaten away by vaginal excretion (holes in underwear)

I'm curious as to why the coffee intake question was included. Has there been a link to a difference either way with caffeine?

I think this poll is awesome but would it be possible to add a part 2 or an extended poll - it seems some people had symptoms manifest after a bug bit (bed bug, scabies, bird mite, fleas) and others not. Some have lots of fibers with few lesions - other folks have both fibers and lesions and then there are the people that have the big gaping sores. Does anyone else think that it might be helpful to add a few more questions to see what other patterns might emerge?

I am very very grateful for this site. I mean no disrespect what so ever!

I was thinking of starting one, myself. I'm having a bad day today, though, and my mind is mush.

You can post it yourself. I've often posted questions on the forum. People have been great about responding.
