Is this morgellons?

Today, my mom pulled this strange thing out of her knuckle. I took it, and put it under a microscope in attempt to decipher what it could possibly be. I'm so scared right now. Not only for my mom, but also for myself and especially for my kitty. I've heard that this disease kills small animals.

I stained these with iodine, as I was having a difficult time finding it under the microscope unstained. these filaments were originally all pretty clear.

I'm leaning towards saying yes this is morgellons but would like to see more pics first, of the fibers in particular.

Check your hairbrush and see if any fibers are in there.

When you finish showering. Dont use a towel and see if fiber balls pop up. I know it is hard in the winter depending on where you are...

If she has only one symptom she may not have this problem and I am praying that is true. Have you researched by symptom rather than by name?

If she has this symptom there is NO other disease I can think of that makes a sewing machine out of a person.

The problem is the people showing their issues is growing and will continue to grow, this is sad, but it is true.

The blood spit and poo will also have some pretty fibers in them.

One is a rare mitochondrial disease and that doesn't sound likely here. Many traumas to the mouth including ones with dentures can cause growths that resemble fibers. If it's possible to get it examined without saying the M word this might be something to check out with a Dr or dentist.

Caring answer, but why should any of us go and waste more money when we can view the fibers ourselves, she has a microscope and our fibers are a kind of special sort.

If a dentist was to find morgellons fibers, a disease that does not exist would you imagine a misdiagnosis with huge amounts of money spent to no avail or some other sort of result.

Our fibers are flatish, twisting, have a center looks a bit hollow and a bonus, they come in many pretty colors or clear.

For me, most all scabies diagnosis and bed bug diagnosis are just plain part of this disease's issues.

When I was young hardly anyone had skin issues.

I remember so many things now growing up, I remember a single woman in her mid 40s, the mother of my friend, she was without a man for years, when she finally got a lover soon after she said, I do not know whats going on, I have got more achne lately than I ever had as a child.

The man she hooked up with was a retired Colonel from the army who did two tours in Vietnam.

Her skin is terrible now but she is 82 now, her arms and legs are much worse than her face skin with white patches and lesions, and she has a laundry list of other problems.

Going to a dentist can rule out other diagnoses. Dentists are often better than Drs at finding out what's wrong and rather than post a laundry list of 'could be' why not rule something out?

There are a few last resort western treatments too that have helped many people here. I'm as cautious of the people who would say only nontraditional works as I am about people who say Doctors are the only answer.

So many people here immediately refer newbies to questionable therapies that cost many more times a dentist or dr visit would. There may not be a cure for this but there is relief and it doesn't include rainbow lights, juicers, magnets and healing stones. I wish it could.

And yes it is juicer. Not the juice made. The people selling the machines sometimes have people believe that theirs is the one and only.

If people learn about what we have and they look at the fibers and know the fibers, they are pretty distinct are they not, they can rule out spending hundreds maybe thousand for things they do not need. Many here depend on money as they do not have much left.

I do not advise everything natural to cure but, what we have has not been shown to have a magic bullet doctor treatment cure, no sir,

Neither can they seem to identify anything about our disease to treat, the lesions, we dig them in our skin, all our other symptoms are explained away by double talk, we are called crazy and first they will try every common diagnosis they can THINK OF without even testing and treat us with drug after drug for somthing diagnosed by a EYE diagnosis.

This is the issue, money is important to us, we are being drained, our fibers are easy to spot, to a dentist any fiber is his mouth disease, there will likely be NO TEST for.

Then who is to say the fibers are not related to mitochondrial disease, anyway there is not a DOCTOR treatment for it but a natural approach anyway.

So actually it was not the best example to compare, but I like that you suggested it is interesting, thank you for suggesting it, so I could find the fibers and compare them, that is how we STIMULATE each other to think.


I spent a bit of time running down the fiber pictures, they lead to more thinking and more searching, trying to understand the lingo, one word will lead to another day of interesting reading, along the way you have to learn more words, every word needing to be understood.

Researchers, I truly feel sorry for them, anyway, thank you for the path to follow METOO, still I do hope if people have a microscope they will do their homework and identify the fibers they have in their mouths before going out and spending their hard earned money on a case of hipitty hop diagnosis by anyone, doctor dentist, superman.

You and I and everyone else knows about the thousand of diagnosis based on nothing more than guesses, morgellons being called something else that is a common issue, disease and then the payments start. When they get to the end of their common issue WITHOUT TESTING diagnosis, they call US crazy. LOL.

As my father says, 84 years old now, I go in to the doctors for a checkup and feel fine, I come out dying.

As a friend 48 years old said also, only they killed him, he is not actually dead yet, but they wasted his kidneys with the dye or metal drink, after a triple bypass and a artery scraping after a checkup he did not make it out of the doctors office before being shipped to the hospital, the doctor told him he was having a massive heart attack as they were speaking, LOL.

This is not the first time I have heard of the heart attack at the doctors office or the blocked artery in need of a stint,

My friend I just told you about, my mother, one of my customers and my friends mother that was one peppy woman, was, I say because they killed her in the doctors office while my friend and his sister waited for their mother outside the DOCTORS OFFICE, they do stints in the office now. How do you like that story, waiting for your perfectly spunky little mom to come out and she was killed for a few quick bucks. DO NOT LET ANY DOCTOR DO SUCH THINGS IN HIS OFFICE, they can turn something simple into a death because there is nothing there but simple life saving devices, REMEMBER THIS!

Then my 30 some year old customer that had chest pains and he was rushed to the hospital and had a triple bypass, he told me I was so lucky the doctor saved my life, then he says, but you know I am still having the same pains, he points to the center of his chest and says right here when I eat, OMG I will bet you money they cut this man open for a heart attack and he had a gall bladder problem.

My mother was going to come down and see me, she was getting on a plane the next day, the doctor said she was having a heart attack, rushed her to the hospital and did a triple bypass.

now what do you think the chance is of doctors catching so many heart attacks and blockages in their office, it just so happens your there when its coming down, LOL.

I have heard of more people getting the healthy as a horse okee dokee and having a heart attack like days after or that day. Funny.
