I am getting shiny dots popping up and causing severe itching. Here is an example of today's episode. was able to see it in the skin with a magnifier, and took it out by using a piece of scotchtape to extract it. photos of both in my skin then when out, at url

showed these things to my doc. doctor was honest - doesn't know what to do next, and is open to me suggesting a line of test if I can think of something reasonble to test for that hasn't been tested.

the surge of blue dots and black u-shaped wiry things stopped. this shiny dot episode has metallic stuff and bright colorful dots.

Jean- I don't have the shiny things...yet. But I do have blue fibers and dots that itch like the ****ens. I don't think they're coming out of my skin, but it seems they can itch just sitting on top. My skin develops a welt and itches until I get the fiber off.

The salicylic acid body wash in the bath has cut the fibers down quite a bit and the itching, too. If that gives us an idea of what it is, that's great. But I wanted to mention it in case it helps someone else.

It's worth a try, right? I soak for an hour or two every night.

I've seen a lot of things about metalic things on the nanotechnology sites. Not sure if I'm on board with it yet, but I've certainly got an open mind now.

You can buy makeup with salicyclic acid in it, ebay may be a help or just google it.
