Hi to all,

I am kinda new to this site. I registered a few weeks ago and lost my way back. These are my pictures. I posted them online in 2004 at a website I was putting up to try and get others to share important information to see if we could find a correlation between symptoms, progression, exposure etc. Got to ill to continue with it. Thought it would help if there was a place where information could be gathered in one place to show doctors or researchers what we were dealing with and to read our history. Got so sick though I had to stop so I have not been able to continue the project or update it or include anyone that might want to share their information. But anyone that would like to see all my pictures and read my incomplete history can at

Most of the information at my site is out of date at this point but may help others that have some of the more bizarre manifestations of this disease. I don't have as much insect (large organism) involvement as I did at the stage when these pics were taken. I almost died during this time, after having 3 seizures. My whole body started shutting down, couldn't eat or sleep. Was lucky and found a dr. that believed me and spent hours looking at the samples under a scope but had not a clue how to help me. It was about this time that the link to lyme was just coming out and I tested equivocal by igenex western blot and maxed out (1:12 at bowen. These are the only tests that have ever shown anything even though I have been close to death a few times. Have since found a LLMD here in Louisiana that has over 300 lyme patients. (even though we are not supposed to have lyme here) Have been on oral abx for 18 months now and I am better but still very sick. I am holding out on the iv abx as I have had such a hard time with the orals, but I am better and not such an extreme case as I was at the time I took these pics.

I don't mind anyone using my pics to share for personal use, but please keep my copyright in place if you do. Would like to get feedback from anyone that has had organisms similar to these, not just the fibers. Thanks for this forum and I look forward to getting to know all of you, as we try to cope and learn about what is happening to us.

Hi Bayou...I see a lot of the same things, only I don't see the ones with all those legs, with the exception of what appears to be fuzzballs that they have created and ooks like a cocoon...I have seen worms in mine...and the fuzball is always shaped like a worm, animal or insect, which aooears to have legs...but the wormy looking pictures are exactly the same...can't help you on identification...wish I could...wish someone would...like the CDC, maybe...good luch, bayou...hope you are getting better day by day...I am so sorry that you have been so much...take care...glad you have found us again....Kentucky haze

Bayou, yes, exactly the same---- I've had samples just like these and others too. I'm so sorry you've had such a bad, but glad you're a bit better now, keep on getting better. Your site looks very good too, afraid I'm not really well enough to take on such a task at the moment, but lets hope either you will be better enough to continue or other people will help. Well done for starting it. x

So glad you posted, I was just about to give up on what this was. I have been calling all over this morning trying to find who might want to view this and tell me what it is. I have had no luck.
