| The following website is asking for submissions of pictures for skin ailments which could be MRSA. Just a thought, but, what if pictures of Morgellons were submitted... would they know the difference and or would they be able to give some insight. Want does everyone here think? ![]() Submit an Entry: MRSA and Other Skin Infection Pictures |

| Hello Dove, I think that there could be connection to MRSA for at least some with Morgellons lesions as one member of this forum who was a part of the CDC study mentioned that she was diagnosed with MRSA. I believe she also mentioned that she was not the only one, but that does not mean that every person in that study was diagnosed with MRSA. I am sure that there could be many reasons for some of our symptoms. As we all know what works for treating one person with this illness does not necessarily work for someone else. That leads me to believe that background infections differ. Meanwhile we all continue to wonder about the common thread (no pun intended) we all might have in this illness, if there is some unknown shared pathogen or parasite.

| To add to your thought. If it is in the environment and or instigated by people, then the differences could be in the amount of exposure one receives and the point of entry. ![]() What do you think about submitting pictures? Last edited by Dove; May 20th, 2010 at 10:00 AM. |

| Dove - I don't see a downside to it. Maybe nothing of any direct value will emerge, but I think any time we can advance information about this affliction we are pushing forward. Who knows - there may be some individuals who will look at them and recognize what they have. The site clearly says MRSA and other skin infection pictures. btw - I don't think MRSA has anything directly to do with Morgellons. I think it is an opportunistic secondary infection due to an open wound. Same as secondary fungal infections, etc. SS |
