| Hi there Cyn and Robin, I thought you both might like to read this post made last year by hurtin' which discusses ways to control nematodes. Most of the post is really about controlling them in the ground. I just read on one site that sesame plants are sometimes rotated with other crops to help control root knot nematodes in the soil. So double duty for that plant then, as it is also sold a food plant as well as a control for nematodes. I also read on one site to make sure to use neem seed oil as some neem oil evidently can be also be made from leaves. It's the seeds which produce the chemicals you want to control nematodes. Hurtin1's post: Nematodes-How to kill (link 1) A couple short discussions from other sites: "According to Wright, the label describes NeoTec as containing 50 percent sesame seed oil and 50 percent lecithin. It does not claim to be a pesticide and thus does not have an EPA pesticide label or classification for use. For the sake of this discussion we will consider it to be a soil conditioner. What it appears to do is to create an environment in the soil that turf- damaging nematodes do not like. Exactly what the mode of action is, I don’t know. What I do know from Cartin and Wright is that they appear to be able to manage their nematode populations with the product and that’s the bottom line – results." Powered by Google Docs Products used to control nematodes in the soil: "Commercial nematode control products derived from sesame include Dragonfi re™ (oil), Ontrol™ (seed meal)—both manufactured by Poulenger USA—and Nemastop™ (ground up sesame plant) from Natural Organic Products." | Me too... My hair moved and bit me... it hurt! The only soap/shampoo I have used for the past three years is Miracle II. Gwen Scott, ND told me about it. I do not sell it. Do your own search, and if you want to buy some, pm me and I will give you the name of a lady in PA who has the cheapest price. itwl, ~jonsi

| I did not find any instructions for using sesame oil mixed with lecithin on humans. Evidently this combination is used by farmers for root knot nematodes found in the soil. There are even some types of soil nematodes this does not work on at all to control soil nematodes. There is mention of lecithin in one source I found which says it can be mixed with sesame oil and applied to the soil. Lecithin can be purchased in a thick viscous liquid form as well as granules. To apply externally I imagine it would work better to mix the liquid lecithin and sesame with some sort of carrier oil. Some oils which could be used as carrier oils are not as greasy like coconut oil. Another thing to keep in mind is that oils have different properties. Some will be more warming and others will be cooling. I know that an ayurvedic doctor once told me on another forum that coconut oil had cooling properties, great if you run hot but not so good if you are always cold. I do not know enough about the properties of oils to say anything much, but I do know that some oils I have rubbed on my skin have made me feel chilled. So experimentation to see how something effects you as a person if probably the best thing to do. Here's what an ayurvedic site says about trying to match oils to the body. I know that if you are not familiar with what the different words mean this page will be hard to follow, but here's a good general statement about this concept. The page itself has a lot of good information about how ayurvedic views the external use of oils for message and how body type and seasons should both be considered before using them (most of us have mixed body types as far as both ayurvedic and TCM concepts): Abhyanga: Ayurvedic Oil Massage These passages make it clear that we should consider our Prakriti (constitution), Vikriti (current condition) and our external environment in deciding which oils are best for us and how often we should perform abhyanga. (oil massage) Ayurvedic Oil Massage; Abhyanga Here's a great discussion about lecithin from the earth clinic site. All sorts of suggestions for different diseases and for oil pulling and some cautions too: Lecithin Cures

| Before I got Morgellons I had long brunette silky hair with a lovely wave. It usually took about 5 seconds in the morning when I woke up to comb out any tangles. After getting my scalp infected with Morgellons, the hair that didn't fall out (1/3) became impossible to comb. I once spent 45 minutes after shampooing trying to detangle my hair. I discovered that taking ivermectin would in a few minutes make my hair easy to comb again. I believe the large doses of ivermectin worked as a nerve agent and stunned the electrical activity of the morgies. When my hair was dry and I skipped a daily dose of ivermectin, my hair would stand out straight to the sides like Bozo the clown or a crazy lady -- after the ivermectin dose, it would relax and look natural again. My hair lost its color and gleam and got more white hairs than I used to have. I also get showers of parasites from my hair from time to time that fall on my face and itch and cause sores. So, I use Eurax (for demodex mites) creme on my face and wipe up the tiny parasites with a kleenex (and then can see them with a 30x magnification eye glass). I should really shave my head and use Eurax every day for months (Eurax is $100 a tube with insurance) but I don't want to lose my beautiful hair (that only grows about one good inch a year -- odd that someone else who got Morgellons now has this slow growth problem too). If I had the money for a lot of Eurax, I suspect I would get rid of the Morgies in my scalp. Wormwood definitely kills them -- permethrin creme just annoys them. Interestingly, I have already been taking Sunway brand black sesame seeds (they're ground into a powder and I buy them on ebay) to make my hair healthier. I didn't know sesame seeds are an insecticide. I just eat a spoonful a day (as they're fattening). The sesame is an old Chinese herb cure for white hair. I find that my hair that is growing back where it fell out due to the Morgellons is black and gleaming. I do think the black sesame powder is very helpful (plus I believe it has iron). I started using the powder a few months ago -- got Morgellons almost two years ago. |

| oh man! are you in my head? lol.. i do the same with my white/clear hairs..can spend hours doing it..for me its just somethin to pass the time. i as well cannot stand to have my hair on my face or neck..don't know if you've noticed they are attracted to open lesions on the face and the end of the hair will stick straight in the lesion..i will pull them back but they will return. i've been wearing my hair pulled back for years now..no doubt my bf is tired of this look. i don't like getting my hair cut because of the face lesions..tho once every couple of years i will brave it. don't worry about what they think, it's not their business! i also use organic and add tea tree oil AND dr. bronners peppermint soap, my hair is not as frizzy or matted w/the addition of the peppermint..give it a try..hope it helps..you may need to shampoo then add the soap straight. i also have loads of the white fiber clusters in my hair..after showering, i brush and pull the hair from the brush..easily visible, tho better with magnifier..just crazy loads of em. i also feel that my hair has changed or been overtaken my morgs, as well as my eyelashes (never ever have they been so long, or changed color so often) my eyebrows too, darker mostly, but then somedays..really light.. and they move! especially, for whatever reason, my right brow..i can feel them move..then look in a mirror and they are sticking straight up/out, can't move em back. obviously i do only share this info on here..cause i know i sound like a complete wacko..which no-one i know would ever have described me..opinionated,funny,yes..but wacko, at least i don't believe so ;-D it is freaky, and you will go thru that, but eventually the freaking will subside, then you will get mad and you will get curious..just keep coming here..we're all in the same boat hugs to you |

| The hair was driving me nuts, and I got sick of putting vicks on my neck each night. I have long hair also which I put in a clamp, but the strands that fell on my neck nipped at me. I took the scissors out and cut off their heads, just enough hair to stop the agravation. It worked, and I got one free evening. Perhalps they know I'm a cutter LOL things simmered down quite a bit. I bumped into a new revelation, many years ago I was given a flowery silk scarf from a devoted Rosary Prayer person, I kept it. The other day I was bannas from morgies, and was looking around for something that would calm my skin down. In despiration I slung the multi colored never used silk scarf around my neck. It was like a miracle, I havent taken it off for a couple weeks except to shower. I am scared to wash it, for fear that it wont work any more. Could it be the pure silk? I wonder, but am greatly releived from the nipping and biting. Bustercat |
