Last night on the animal channel there is a new serues called the monsters inside me.it on wensday nights and its about all kinds of parasites! it is extremely scary but very interesting.here is the link that shows all kinds of things.its very informative!

Robin, we might have to give the next episode a miss: "Meet parasites which work on a grand scale, infecting and killing in mass numbers." I don't think I am brave enough for that one! Sounds like the media are aware that this is a growing (no pun intended here) problem. A way to get us used to accepting them as common?

your absoulutey right it does sound like they are aware of something amiss.in watching the show last night when their drs were trying to figure out what was wrong they would ask have you traveled to a forgein country.well how stupid are they?we have all of these people from these countries living in our own backyards!we may be on these shows soon! who knows maybe thats how we'll finally meet each other in person while we are filming our segments!

Not sure I am the type to be on a reality show, especially one discussing my personal parasites. Still it would be fun to meet ya--totally well and recovered of course! Yes, the folks coming in from other countries and introducing them into the country (such as leishmaniasis into the blood supplies) seems to be conveniently overlooked.
