| There's a lot of products that contain polymers - I'm looking at bandaids, liquid bandaids... tape used in hospitals, glues, epoxy, ... etc. I was working with a lot of epoxy and glue/bandaids/tape are things that I turned up to be allergic to at the onset of my Morgellons symptoms. | EXPERIMENT 12 - Nose These are pieces that were removed from someone's nose. They were removed to give to this person's doctor, placed in formaldehyde and then the doctor refused to accept it. I spread the contents around the base of the petri dish and separated the pieces with tongs so that I could get a good photo. I doubt that these pieces will culture because they have been in the formaldehyde, however, I will keep an eye on them to see if anything develops. I have always found it hard to discern in photographs what is happening when pieces are removed from the body. Some of these are large pieces, too large for my 100x minimum microscope. I don't see anything that's recognizable other than some of the typical Morgellons signatures, the specks, the icy crystal edges on things... etc. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_1.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_2.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_3.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_4.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_5.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_6.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_7.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...e/08_04_8.JPEG A quote from Kammy's Photo Comparions thread. | Yes, DF, these samples look similar to the "nose" samples above. I wonder if the black specks in this nose specimen might not have cultured if they were not in the formaldhyde? I bet they might have and I bet the specks in your sample would have too. |

| EXPERIMENT #11 - Arm 24 hours after placed in the Petri Dish. These specks were taped down to a piece of aluminum foil and they have been here a few weeks, so they've been trapped in a low or no oxygen environment until yesterday. This experiment might show us a couple of things. Does the amount of time matter before these specks make contact with moisture? I see where in various places the fibers are actually coming through the tape. This tells us a couple of things about the fibers, they don't need oxygen or high oxygen contents in order for them to develop and they can 'squeeze' through the size of the pore of the tape. They are either squeezing through or pushing their way through. I can't tell if the specks are starting to germinate or not at this time. If they don't, I will try to lift the tape off of them in the next few days to see if that starts their growth. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_1.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_2.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_3.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_4.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_5.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_6.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_7.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_8.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_05_9.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_10.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_11.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_12.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_13.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_14.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_15.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_05_16.JPEG A quote from Kammy's Photo Comparions thread. | RICE - EXPERIMENT 13.1 I went to cook some dinner and opened a new bag of rice... I put it in a bowl to start rinsing it and saw 2 black objects in the rice. One looked like it could be a small moth but it wasn't, it is approximately 3mm in size - and the other resembles a seed and is 5mm in size. Both of these particles are easily visible to the naked eye. I decided to culture them today to see if anything looks familiar and switched to noodles instead. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...6/08_06_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...6/08_06_1.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...6/08_06_2.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...6/08_06_3.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...6/08_06_4.JPEG A quote from Kammy's Photo Comparions thread. | EXPERIMENT #11 - Arm (cont.) Cultured 8/4/09, photographed 8/8/09 @ 100x - represents 4 days growth. This culture is under scotch tape with the specks trapped between the tape and agar, these specks are not from a lesion site but from specks that came up randomly through the skin. I have not done comparisons of previous photos to see if these 'specks' are changing in size, I don't believe they are culturing. I will lift the tape shortly to see if I can get the specks off of the tape into the agar. What this might show us is that the agar should be similar to skin, that when the debris is covered with tape, smothered, it causes the specks to stay in their original form and keeps them from 'sprouting'? Of course, this couldn't be done on the human body, except in small areas, as the skin is an organ and has to breathe for us to exist. We're not sure yet if these are viable 'seeds' because possibly they were not removed from a lesion site or because they are covered in tape. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff...4/08_08_0.JPEG A quote from Kammy's Photo Comparions thread. | RICE - EXPERIMENT 13.1 (cont.) The first piece in the rice that looked like a small moth but isn't - is blooming hyphae, resembles what we have identified as 'fungus' in the past, looks like a 'biofilm' is developing around it. I believe this is what we're referring to as the baculovirus (bioinsecticide material) that was undissolved and was left in the rice at packaging. Normally, I would not have washed the rice, this material would be in the cooking water and we do not know if it's broken down there. Wash your rice thoroughly before cooking and look it over closely to make sure there's no 'foreign' objects in it. Washing it in a strainer will not work, these objects are a good size and will not go through a strainer. It might be a good idea to closely inspect and wash all dried beans, peas, legumes, etc. until we know more. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_13.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_14.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_15.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_16.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_17.JPEG This second piece, that looks like a seed - is some sort of seed. It looks like a sprouting seed in the dish. We'll continue to watch it and see what develops. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_18.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_19.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_20.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_21.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_22.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_23.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_24.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_25.JPEG A quote from Kammy's Photo Comparions thread. | Tap Water - Experiment 14 I'm running another tap water experiment. These are immediate photographs of my tap water from my bathroom sink, that has no filtration that has been run straight from the faucet over the nutrient agar at 100x. http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_51.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_52.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_53.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_54.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_55.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_56.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_57.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_58.JPEG http://my-stuff-dot-com.com/My Stuff.../08_08_59.JPEG A quote from Kammy's Photo Comparions thread.
